Oh, karma, what a bitch ye is!
November 28th, 2014 at 5:51 PM ^
Just imagine if they can beat Oregon twice...
November 28th, 2014 at 5:52 PM ^
Oregon had a lot of injuries in that game and still almost won. That won't be the case this time
November 28th, 2014 at 5:56 PM ^
Oregon was using second and third string lineman during that game.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:09 PM ^
Nonsense. Now we're down to "second and third string linemen" as the excuse? I swear every time somebody brings up that game, they exaggerate their o-line injuries even more than the last person. They were missing two starters and one of them was replaced by a five star who had started the previous two games at the other tackle position.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:48 PM ^
Sorry, but AZ beat Oregon straight up. Sure Oregon had some injuries, every team does. Oregon will still have some injuries in the PAC12 title game. Their all conference center has been hurt, and I'm not sure when he'll be back. Arizona almost certainly has injuries as well.
The point is, AZ went into Autzen stadium and beat Oregon. They also stomped Oregon in Tucson last season. I think RR and Casteel will put a good gameplan together and have a shot at Oregon for a third time.
Arizona can score on Oregon's mediocre defense, and they have just enough athletes on defense to cause Mariota some problems. To be honest, Oregon has 3-4 losses at least if they are playing any other QB in the country besides Mariota.
Personally, I hope RR can get them again. I don't think he has any shot at the playoff, but I'm still rooting for them.
November 28th, 2014 at 5:57 PM ^
They have beaten the Ducks the past two seasons. I'm taking the Wildcats. They seem like a team of destiny.

November 28th, 2014 at 6:06 PM ^
Good point. It does seem like Arizona has had their number lately. I don't see them winning 3 times in a row, however. Mariota is too good.

November 28th, 2014 at 6:24 PM ^
For sure. I wouldn't be too upset with another Arizona win, but I really wanna see Oregon win it this year. Mariota is a whole lot of fun to watch.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:09 PM ^
Different Oregon team. Oregon has hammered everyone they have played since they lost to Arizona has lost 2 games since then and should have lost a 3rd.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:11 PM ^
UW and Cal were miracle wins. Zona has has some ND type luck this season.
November 28th, 2014 at 5:55 PM ^
Reality setting in that Coach Rod could be playing in the inaugural CFB Playoff.
Thanks Dave!

Hoke desolates UM and Rich Rodriguez leads Arizona to a Pac 12 title. How fucking wonderful.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:03 PM ^
TCU will be as will FSU and Alabama. Arizona is a longshot at this point.
I'm thinking we are going to see an Arizona-OSU matchup in the Rose.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:05 PM ^
Hope AZ makes the playoff
November 28th, 2014 at 6:06 PM ^
The Rose is a semi. And its not all that implausable.
TCU is dormant the next week and a half. Bunch of teams in front could lose. And beating Oregon, who the committee has been found to like a lot, twice would mean something.
Don't rule it out. Unbelievably Rodriguez will be rooting hard tomorrow for Michigan. College Football is a strange animal.

TCU plays ISU
November 28th, 2014 at 6:25 PM ^
ISU obviously doesn't count as an opponent.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:10 PM ^
It's a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG shot.
I don't see Bama, FSU, or OSU losing. Arizona has almost no chance. Auburn is the only team with a realistic chance of defeating those four teams. The rest play chumps.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:10 PM ^
Arizona isn't jumping TCU. Not with that awful non-conference schedule. No chance.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:09 PM ^
November 28th, 2014 at 5:56 PM ^
I wish we could run the ball like that.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:40 PM ^
Mizzou wishes they could man ball teams like we do.

November 28th, 2014 at 6:03 PM ^
November 28th, 2014 at 6:07 PM ^
That would be incredible!
November 28th, 2014 at 6:10 PM ^
That way there's no SEC and no OSU in the playoff.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:11 PM ^
I'd enjoy the chaos but I'd much rather see Bama do well than Auburn.
I think Auburn is the dirtiest team in the NCAA. And they have gotten away with it.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:08 PM ^
Arkansas isn't dead just yet

Mizzu, Neb., and Wisc. would have been nice on that side of the conference.
Iowa probably wouldn't be too happy about it.
TV's are way more important though. /s
November 28th, 2014 at 6:31 PM ^
I always thought Mizzou and Pitt/Syracuse were better options than Maryland and Rutgers.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:15 PM ^
Thought he re-gained possession. Had his arm on the ball then the ball was wrestled away.

I can't believe how much fun this playoff system has been and we haven't even played the damn games yet. The BCS was horrible, but this new system (while not perfect) has us fans treating each week/game as a potential play-in game. Its kinda fun.... :)
At some point, it would be nice for UM to explore these new fangled things like the B1G championship and the FBS playoff, but until then, I need my Sun Devils to get their heads out of their asses and start playing some D.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:23 PM ^
I'm so pissed that FOX has been frozen for me for almost the entire Arizona - Arizona State game. Watching crappy streams blows.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:25 PM ^
Rooting for Arizona is a just a passive agressive way to express disdain for Michigan. The only people more insufferable than Staee fans when they are winning is Michigan fans when they are losing.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:26 PM ^
GO WILDCATS!!
November 28th, 2014 at 6:27 PM ^
You're funny, though in some rare cases I agree with your second sentence.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:28 PM ^
Well poop.... that pretty much seals the deal for Zona. I think Oregon will truck them in the rematch though.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:30 PM ^
Arizona has beaten Oregon the past two seasons and Oregon's defense blows. I fully expect a close game.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:39 PM ^
Partially because Oregon's O-line was down a few players last time they played. Partially because beating a team twice is much harder (plus previous game was on a Thurs which is bad juju for top teams). Partially because I really really really don't want RR to win lol... I know I know... but part of it is I'm an adopted Sun Devil fan too.
Its that whole emotion overriding logic thing I'm going with. :D
November 28th, 2014 at 6:53 PM ^
Oregon by 20.
November 28th, 2014 at 6:30 PM ^
