I really hope they bench the qb. OR play him as a running qb. Quit trying tomake him a pocket qb. My GOD. "Ok, we have a Ferrari but let's use him as a thinking mans truck"

Say what you will about Hoke's clock management over his tenure, but he obviously doesn't have any faith in Gardner executing a scoring drive with a minute to go before the half, and he shouldn't. He called it right.

man I hope we go all out to get Jim Harbaugh here. I mean let's give him the biggest salary in history and retire his number if we have to.

why is gardner still playing? why was still playing after 3 TO's at MSU? get Shane in there. i know Shane is not good, but we need to see what he is capable of. all about the future. it is immoral to keep gardner in there play after play after he keeps hurting his team.

Greay job, Defense is outstanding, Gardner is playing well, Rbs and O-line are doing their jobs, great 1st half performance. Great job by Hoke to run out the clock before half... windy game, up by 17 and getting ball after half. No need to risk a INT, and give away momenteum. Go Blue!

Devin is so maddening. One minute he looks great...the next it's WTF??? He had two bad throws earlier, one that should have been a pick 6, another to a double covered Funchess while there was fields of green to run on the right side. The INT though...good decision, Funchess was breaking wide open. But the pass? Ugggghghhg it was severely under thrown. Bad mechanics. Inexplicable for a 5th year senior QB, even considering his roller coaster career of OCs and position changes.

Well, the most interesting one to me is that we've held Indiana to all of 51 yards on their 24 offensive snaps, so the defense is really doing some good work out there right now. We've actually only accumulated 204 yards on 35 plays, but despite some "meh" rushing in some series, we are getting four yards per carry on average or so right now, which is a bit of progress (68 yards, 17 carries).

Also, Darboh rage - I like the look of it.

Darboh is standing on his head, breaking tackles, getting open, catching the ball, making plays! He is the MVP of the game thus far! Thumbs up this comment! please help me get to 100 points!

"all we need" is a qb?  Agreed, but unless we get a fifth year transfer, we will have to start a freshman.  Morris ain't it.

I do think with an average qb, we can be good. Great just seems too much. But man the schedule is favorable..

See that's one of the major problems with this program. We're a second or third tier program with fans who are living in the past and want to believe we're still one of the blue-bloods.

Want to be a top tier program again? Well were gonna have to put up with poor results in the short term so that the long term gains are obtainable. That's what the anti-hoke crowd doesn't understand

Jake is a real competitor, let me tell ya. Comes to work each day, plays with a passion, that's the first thing. Has everything been perfect with Jake? Probably not. We just need to come to work each day, really fight for eachother and be accountable.

no hes just too slow hitting holes and deveons vision / instincts are not greatest.  its crazy but hayes has been their best option at RB most of season.  really love seeing hayes square up and stone LBs in pass pro.

hopefully they find a RB with legit lateral agility and explosive quickness before next season bc they do not have any home run hitters on current roster (issac does not appear to be that guy either).  but i guess thats hoke, he wanted large physical RBs, apparently so much that he did not recruit a single RB with skill set to provide any change of pace (and yes change of pace is important, even if you have straight burners its never bad to compliment that lightning with thunder).

DL has been playing really well today, though id still love to see more charlton - and glasgow has def made me a believer, at least in his ability vs the run

for 18. Hayes, Johnson, Smith with 60 yards between them. Appreciating the ball security Norfleet has provided despite the lack of big runs. Darboh having a breakout game.

worst time / situation management coach in country right now.  no TO prior to IU field goal attempt wastes 30-40 seconds, then no hurry up after hayes busts a run out to 35-40 yard line.  hoke huddles up the O and runs up the middle for nothing, simply content to go into half up 17-0.

this team and this coach should never feel comfortable with 17 point lead, no matter the opponent or circumstances.  its just inexcusable coaching, much like "giving up without giving up" in all other losses.  does not project much confidence in his team and his QB when hoke does not give them chance to put more points on board - especially after initial brain fart when theyre at 35-40 yard line with over 1 minute plus timeouts left.

id obviously love for UM to win bc those players and fans deserve W and success, particularly on homecoming after some of recent bs - but i also want to see hoke's total ignorance (or arrogance) shoved back in his face yet again - bc he obviously still does not get it, hes clueless

1932- every post this whole game has been to simply stir something up. If you are going to offer some reasonable insight about hoke deserving to coach here it is welcome, but if you are trying to stir something up, you are not welcome so GTFO.
