MOD appreciation thread

Submitted by mi93 on

The losses used to sting more.  Having to deal with all the Sparty brahs is...trying these days.  But what gets me through is the chance to be in this community, vent, and let it go.

I do my best to be a good citizen, as many others here, and I deeply appreciate the other perspectives here.  Thank you all for that.

More importantly, though, on a night like tonight, full of angst and snowflakes, I can't tell you how happy I was to see the site up (no small feat I imagine given the number of 502 Bad Gateways I first saw).  Thank you Brian.  Thank you Mods.  For letting our community post Schadenfreude for the world to see.  And for helping us be reasonable to one another in our anonymity.

Godspeed all and Go Blue.  Till I die, whether we suck at sportsball things or not.

They, many of them to be more exact, have been awaiting this reversal of fortunes for over four decades.  And I don't blame them. If we do return to the Michigan of yore I actually hope they are still among the elite.  I do have insight into why, even with an infusion of upper echelon talent this hire was doomed for failure. It's inside info and I can't tell you what exactly it is. The fault lies with BH, of course and in his failure to recognize certain assistants are killing him. I will expond on this when I receive information from source.  One is obvious, the other may come as a surprise.

NO.

FUCKING.

WAY.

I cannot WAIT for your super-secret source to reveal this mystery cause to my lying eyes we appear to have this whole coaching thing all buttoned up.

Well, some of it will obviously get deleted, either because it is over-the-top of simply being covered in other threads to a point where there isn't immediate need for further threads, but I have a fear that this is going to be like last week and eventually threads will be conceded here and there as a controlled burn to prevent the hundreds of "feelingsposts", as someone called them.

You're welcome, of course - myself and the other mods do try, and it is a team effort definitely.

It's one thing to post something which states that you believe Hoke should resign and then give reasons, but that framed it in terms of character via the "Michigan Man" route (so that will go well), which we're not going to do here because that will never lead to useful discussion. Also, it's a bad argument from from the start.

Has been my relief, many thanks for allowing the community to vent. Keep helping in your way to steer this ship out of ruff waters. Many thanks
