OT: David Price & Ian Kinsler Appreciation Thread
David Price showed up ready to dominate and Ian Kinsler helped the Tigers secure the Central Division Crown.
Not an easy task against the pesky Twins, with a tough Gibson matching Price seemingly pitch-for-pitch.
David Price and Ian Kinsler trades paid off big today!!! This team is not perfect, but I like their chances to finally win another World Series this year.
Congratulations Tigers!

Decent bat, can steal bases, and brings much-needed quality fielding to the Tigers.

Bless You Boys!

and even after some questionable trades (AJ, Fister) this team looks primed for a good post-season run. Now we need to finish.

Credit Nathan too. He hasn't exactly been lights out, but going 1-2-3 to close a game like he should was big. Hopefully he'll keep it going.

week, plus he got the big out on Tuesday when David Price gave up 3 runs after 8 brilliant innings.
Nathan should have plenty of confidnece heading into the post-season.

After so many bad years the Ttiger's management seems as if they will pull the trigger on trades that might not look so good at the time but have a way of working out for the best.
And where is that boy named Prince these days?

about Prince though. It was hella fun watching he and Cabrera swatting balls all over the park for a year and a half. Prince got divorced and has lost his passion for the game, its just a job to him.

With 7 Ks today, one more for season than Corey Kluger.
V.Martinez just missed the batting title.

The offense was pretty stagnant other than him. Price stepped up too. Chamberlain and Nathan also. I still am nervous about this team but if Price can put it together along with JV, I think we have a chance. Bullpen is going to be iffy for sure. It's not going to be a playoff run for the faint of heart.

not a fan of kinsler's bat, but man can he play some 2nd base. placido could go years in between errors, but he had no where near the range kins has. too bad iglesias was out this year, cuz we would have at a + infield defense, or at least close. i think next year could be really good for the infield defense with iggy back, and mags and nick c having a year under their belts.

I like your half glass full hopefulness! Far from perfect, however the team that wins championships has to have the ball bounce right for them more often than not! I am hopeing this year we get those bounces, those texas leaguers, those big gape hits, those stolen bases and good base running take the extra base hustle plays as well as DOMINANT pitching!
Go Tigers!
Go Blue!
