I think we've got a better chance of beating Ohio State than we do of winning in Madison. Wouldn't surprise me if we get trucked next weekend.
I can't believe that I just wrote that, but I did.

I really do. I guess it is POSSIBLE. Just not bloody likely...

We lose to Purdue, Illinois MSU but beat OSU? I remember when I too was optimistic...those were the days

Purdue lost to Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, and Minnesota, but beat OSU.
Last year, we beat a Wisconsin team that was ranked #9 after starting the flaming crater season 1-2.
Optimism nothing - anything can happen in sports. We aren't supposed to win those games, but it's too early to discount them until they actually happen.

I believe I have promised myself that if we beat OSU, I will eat a shoe. I hope that shoe is tasty.

with our luck when we play osu, pryor will run for 100 yards and pass for over 200 and look like a superstar just like juice williams did last week.

Can do whatever he wants (400 yards total offense, kill people, murder people, whatever). As long as his team loses to us.

It's over. It's easier to just surrender.
Michigan just lost to the two worst teams in the Big Ten conference. Think about that for 1 minute.
After a 4-0 start Michigan is now in the Big Ten basement.
This team is sprinting off a cliff to 5-7 and no bowl game once again unless GERG pulls some decent linebacker and safety play out of his rear end within the next two games against two ranked opponents.
He can't do it.
Michigan cannot stop anyone, so RichRod's offense racking up tons of yards and scoring 35 points per game is meaningless.

Based on standings, Indiana and Michigan are the two worst teams in the Big Ten...

And I thought I couldn't feel any worse than I do right now.
Where did I put that damn Jaeger bottle?

It kind of feels like when Ron Burgundy just gives up and agrees to eat the Cat Poop.

I'll be praying for these last 2 teams to take us too lightly. I might even ask Santa too.

...but it's hard to imagine what a different world it would be for Michigan and Rich Rod if we pulled it off somehow.

It's easy if you try. (According to John Lennon anyway)
