Has there ever been a successful NFL QB that was a complete idiot? Vince Young is the last example of someone not too bright who had some success but eventually flamed out. I can't see Winston who at best is utterlly self-unaware, or at worst a complete moron doing well at the next level.

I always used to hear that Terry Bradshaw was remarkably stupid. He doesn't really come across that way on his NFL pregame show, but that could just mean he can read a teleprompter. I've been acquainted with some local TV news anchors and they aren't the sharpest knives either. Wow. I see I have written a truly asinine comment. But I guess I will post it anyway; it seems to belong on a thread devoted to Jameis Winston shouting vulgarities from a tabletop in a college student union.

but mostly it's that Heisman attention. Same thing happened with Manziel. They both do dumb shit but we wouldn't hear about a lot of their acts if not for the extra attention. Now I see he is suspended for the 1st half of the Clemson game this weekend. That's gonna be interesting.
