Former JCA and USC RB @TyIsaac discusses his #Michigan decision here http://t.co/EuuEl9usbs

"I decided that I'm going to transfer to Michigan," Isaac said moments ago. "I had a good visit there and it's just the place where I feel the most comfortable."
. . .
"They have all of the same coaches except one since I was recruited by them. They have a great staff, a great tradition and I also feel like I will be a good fit. The offense is a good system for me and I feel that I can come in and compete right away."
. . .
"I need to enroll and then go through the hardship process with the NCAA. I'm hoping to be able to be eligible right away but either way I'm just excited about Michigan."
He's coming whether or not he gets to play this year. Naturally hopes to, but is willing to sit. Could this mean he wants to come to Michigan because it's [gasp] Michigan?
That's a nice tie, Ty.
Go Blue!
I bet he never doubted this outcome for a second!
I'm confused. Do we want him to redshirt or not? Personally I'd rather see him redshirt.
That's pretty much where I am too. I do worry slightly that if his waiver is granted, we may lose either Smith or Green to transfer. At the same time, I want to win NOW. I'm sure it will all work itself out.
I just don't see it. Quiet hardworker who chose us early and made zero noise when we also got Green and had D Harris committed.
If we had known last year we'd end up with Smith, Isaac, and Green, we wouldn't have known what to do with ourselves.
You don't need a great OL and a great RB stable. Either a great OL or great RB group will do it. I'm confident our OL will be serviceable. Here's to hoping these three RBs (plus Drake Johnson and whomever else) get it done.
You do need a strong O-line to be successful. The best SEC teams, Ohio does, so does MSU.
Considering our lack of 2014 RB, and I don't think the addition of Isaac to the Green/Smith combo (and also Justice Hayes) changes the outlook of the offense this season. I think I would like to see him RS. However, if him RS deters Harris from getting back on board, I would like to see him eligable. I think he's going to be eligable this year though. Seems to have a legit hardship argument.
If he is the best bcak, I want him on the field. If he is not, then a RS is fine.
Awesome, awesome news. We can now take our foot off the brakes and floor it!
WHOOOOAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
COOKIE NOW PLEASE
Guys, we're getting Ty Isaac.

Honestly dude, predicting this two days ago wasn't exactly a bold prediction. On a scale of 1 to bold, I give you a 2
I figured, I'm just trying to ride the wave of me picking mercer and dayton months ago.
Jazzing all over myself at school. No one understands!
Nor should they.
That's what I call some Big Ol' Brenda right there.
The other schools had NUSSing on us! Woo puns! See how I TY'ed it all together?
Wooo!
wrong. VERY wrong. Disturbingly wrong.
LEGGO!!!
Shits & giggles time... I put his ground yds at 350 his first year playing for M. Anyone think he'll surpass that?
In week 3!
Hello! Welcome! and Congratulations!
Go Blue!
Dang, that's a large dude
WOW, that sure reminds me of Wheatley!
This is huge! I don't think it matters if he redshirts or not. It will sort itself out. You take this type of talent and deal with any problems later.
And dare I say an upgrade to our current stable of RB's?! I hope he gets a hardship waiver and competes this fall. I for one am looking forward to seeing him play!
We gave USC Fargas and we got Isaac. Nice doing business with y'all.
Updated incoming transfer history. GREAT players have come here. Let's hope this is like Michigan stealing Heston from SJSU.

My memory may be faulty, but I don't think he ever became eligible after transferring.
Didn't he start his first game back and never started again?
I also think he may be the first UM player to play at UM, transfer, then play at UM.
Were REALLY good transfers.
I sorta hope he has to sit a year cause I am not to confident on the rbs now in this class. Plus I think it would be best for the team. Then we have a more spread out rb class.
I sorta hope he has to sit a year cause I am not to confident on the rbs now in this class.
Can you further explain that thought? It makes no sense to me.
