Love the way they put the game away early, so I didn't have to pop the nitroglycerine so much. After that, it was just fun, fun, fun. That's a team and coach that "gets it."
The season continues!
GO BLUE!!!
Michigan has made the Sweet Sixteen just twice in my life (born in 1995). Last year and this year. I'm so happy to be part of this as a fan.
- Michigan now has 50 all-time NCAA Tournament wins
- Michigan advances to past the first weekend in the Midwest Regional for the first time since 1994.
- Jordan Morgan has passed Chris Webber in career rebounds with 708.
- 14 3-pointers tonight is new program record for an NCAA Tournament game.
- 28 3-point attempts is new official* record for an NCAA Tournament game.
another thoroughly enjoyable two hours of TV viewing
Hail!
Pre season, I thought that this team could (1) compete for a Big Ten title and (2) make the sweet sixteen. This was before McGary went down, but I still thought they could do it.
For me, it is all frosting on the cake from here on out. Go Blue.
Perhaps I will dream tonight about what this team would be like with Trey, Timmy and Mitch.
re-watch the game making believe you are a Texas fan, and see how terrifying we really are.....I imagine Longhorn fans are like a bowl of petunias every time Stauskas launches one!
