LSU insider certain B Kelly would come to M if Harbaugh leaves for NFL (i.e. no clue what he's talking about)

Slow news day so thought this would be good for a laugh and reminder most insiders don't know ANYTHING:

LSU insider says IF Harbaugh goes to the NFL and IF Michigan offers Kelly, is certain that purple face fam-uh-lee values BK will come to Michigan. Kelly did state that he intends to end his career at LSU.

More for fun than to be taken at all seriously!

He’d basically be like Harbaugh from 2015-2020. Lose 3 games every year at least, probably more with Oregon now in the conference, have no shot at a national title, never beat OSU, run off numerous decent people, and the entire staff would leave. On top of being a completely fake person who’s a complete ass and showed zero remorse when a kid died because of his stupidity. Among numerous other things. How he ever lasted at Notre Dame I do not know, but he’s not a fit at Michigan. Possibly Ohio State or Penn State. In fact, he would be the perfect replacement for Franklin in 2 years. LSU is going to fire him and Penn State will probably do the same with Franklin. Maybe they can trade coaches.

Kelly's agent is the LSU insider and he's looking out for his own and his client's wallet.

And the thought of Michigan hiring a man to coach here who is responsible for killing a student is laughable,

I'd be as excited about that as I would Izzo coming to coach basketball. Which is to say, I'd have more time on my hands to do other things than watch Michigan football and basketball.

Talk about overrated coaches getting PAID despite repeatedly hitting their ceiling...

RichRod and Hoke won September championships beating his teams. But he's got to be worried about the LSU folks firing him, what with not bringing home titles to LSU.

No one said he should be automatically anointed.

I HATE HC in waiting designations.

That said, I understand the world we live in and there is a 0% chance he doesn't get that job if Michigan stays on top and he's not involved with anything scandal related.

That has nothing to do with what I want or think is right.

He won zero games as the HC, because he wasn’t the HC. He made decisions on game day. Harbaugh ran the show. If the chances are 0% it would be anyone else, the decision makers aren’t very bright. A program like Michigan’s should never automatically jump to someone who’s never done the job without considering other options.

You admit he's won 4 *Games* as head coach and still make the point you're trying to make.

Think about what you just said in a literal sense. You just said he won zero *GAMES*...he was just the head coach on *GAMEDAY*

That's how you win games! On GAMEDAY

Now does winning games mean he can run a program? I don't know, but what you said was, just stupid.

...and again, I'm not saying he *should*, I'm saying there is no chance that if things stay the course (and/or improve with a national championship)...there is a 0% chance he's not the next head coach.

I'm not buying this. He knows how Michigan works and he knows how LSU works. He is not leaving the wild West to be doing things with both arms tired behind your back. It's basically the reason he left ND

All things being equal, no connections or loyalties, is UM a better job for a big name coach than is LSU?  Seems like LSU or any high level SEC program has much bigger bags and lower academic standards.  It should be easier to be successful there than in Ann Arbor.

I mean, he is right that Kelly would likely jump ship to Michigan if offered. But there is zero in a million universes where Michigan offers purple face and Kelly knows that too.
