Never liked Draymond at all, but I do hope he gets some help. Nobody is beyond redemption. Hope he can get his stuff figured out with therapy and whatever else is needed to get him to move past his violent tendencies.

Added bonus: I regretfully checked out ESPN's site to see what they would say. And I quote:

Draymond Green ejected for spinning backhand on Jusuf Nurkic in Warriors' loss to Suns

Seriously, how is that in any possible way a "backhand?" Talk about minimizing a brutal act. Ranks right up there with the "Tunnel Brawl."

Exhibit 4,192 as to why I should never go back. Just ridiculous

He's Bill Laimbeer, isn't he? Played — and played a key role on — winning teams, is famous for cheap shots and fights, and you love him when he's on your team, and hate him when he's not.

Strange how those types of players/people continue to have a place in the league. You assume they'd be identified and weeded out earlier, but I guess that's hard to do.

(No knock meant on Mr. Laimbeer. He was a key ingredient of some damned awesome Pistons teams (as well as being a Sleestak as a teenager). Just pointing out how much different we feel about these guys when they play for us than when they don't).

No, he's not Laimbeer at all. How many times have you seen a guy go in for a layup and get fouled, and you think "why didn't he foul him hard enough so he couldn't make the shot?" That's what Laimbeer did. He used hard fouls that were part of the flow of the game to disrupt the other team. There weren't done to injure someone.

Draymont, meanwhile, does awkward, flopping things and weird kicking things to nail guys in the nads or cold cock them in the head. They're deliberate attempts to injure.

Laimbeer may have used his elbows while boxing out, but everybody played hard-nosed, no easy baskets ball back then. I'd be surprised if he ever threw the first punch. He'd get the other players off their game, and they'd lose their cool and throw first. And he had a tippy-toe jumper, wasn't kicking anybody in the nads.

It was funny seeing the talking heads proclaiming him as a hall of famer.  He would've been out of the league a long time ago if he wasn't with Curry, Klay, Durant.  Average player

He is going to be a first ballot inductee, (waive the mandatory waiting period) into the Fake Tough Guy and the John Oates/Ringo Starr/Guy From Wham Who Isn’t George Michael Memorial halls of fame, and he’s a Milli Vanilli All Star.

How has this guy never been in a legitimate fight with anyone in the nba? How has nobody kicked his ass (or atleast attempted to? I truly don't understand how so many professionals athletes have just taken it all these years.

Booted Blue in PA

As I recall.... Rodman made a name for himself as a relentless defender, he didn't start losing it until later in his career.  Green has been a cheapshot artist, POS since college, as well as a relentless defender.

He most certainly should be given a suspension that ranks in the top 5 or 10 ever given by the NBA..... and next time just booted from the league.
