Question about Rose Bowl tickets
I hope to go to the Rose Bowl, but family issues are such that I may have to bail out later. I want to be certain that I can sell the tickets if I can’t go. Does anyone know whether there are any restrictions on doing so? My concern is that I have a friend who has two tickets to tonight‘s conference championship game, and he got sick and tried unsuccessfully to list his tickets for sale. It may have been his Errors, but I am concerned, and since this is the last day to order Rose Bowl tickets and the ticket office is closed, I am hoping the brilliance that is the MGo board group can help me.

What was the issue he had? Just curious, because I don’t know what the issue could be in this day and age (UNLESS they weren’t electronic tickets, if that’s even a thing anymore)…

Yes, Beat Iowa. But you realize you’re responding to a post asking about tonight’s game (against Iowa), right?

Board is brutal today. Of course beat Iowa, but he's a fellow fan looking for a little real life help.

Block those Iowa punts!

Should be able to sell them without a problem, but I think sales stop the morning of the game or something like that.

Not sure about when sales stop, but you don’t get your ticket link typically until 24 hours before the game. Which is disconcerting, not going to lie, but that’s how it works.

Order them and if you can’t go I will buy them

What do you mean by it’s the last day to order tickets?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:44 PM ^
it’s the last day for Michigan people to order from the Michigan allotment

How is there a Michigan allotment when we're not in the game yet? I'm an Alumni Association member and haven't heard anything except that tickets were available as part of tour packages but not separately.

I’m a season ticket holder and every year I get an email that I can request bowl games tickets(games they think Michigan will be in). It’s not a guarantee but I have to put in my card number and if I have enough priority points I can get the tickets

Got it. Season ticket holders. It'd be nice if there was an alumni hookup, but I got mine already any way. It would be nice to sit in the UM section, but I'd guess we'll be dominating the attendance any way

Look, don’t count your chickens before they hatch. We could possibly be 1 seed if GA loses. And if so, may select playing at sugar bowl instead of rose bowl because of logistics vs opponent. Just wait to ask this question in a day. And as others have said, beat Iowa first and worry about everything else later. But genuinely hope your family issues are nothing serious and you can attend game wherever it is.

I heard there is some Connor guy looking for tickets. He’d probably buy em.

You should be able to transfer/sell them. I had a couple extras to the Fiesta Bowl last year. I received them on 12/22 and was able to transfer/sell them well before the game.

Nobody considering that Washington might jump M in the rankings? In that case, there won't be a Michigan game at the Rose Bowl.
December 2nd, 2023 at 7:31 PM ^
Well whomever bought Rose Bowl tickets, you just messed up. Regardless of the result tonight, we aren’t playing in Pasadena.
December 2nd, 2023 at 8:16 PM ^
Huh?! If we win we're the #1 seed now, Washington is not passing us. Michigan is going to choose Pasadena, both for the vaunted tradition of the Big Ten champ playing there, but also to avoid playing a team from the South in the middle of the South in New Orleans (whether Bama, Texas, FSU or Georgia).

I hope Harbaugh chooses playing Texas/Bama in LA (Los Angeles) and not LA (Louisiana).

I sold my playoff tickets last year with no problem.
I ordered 4 to whichever playoff we go to this year, but once again may not be able to go (work. Ugh), so may end up having to sell again.
