I think this is all Brian’s doing, and I mean everything since the end of the season, to keep clicks and revenue coming in. Dastardly.

What’s the o/u on # days without negative UM’s Athletic department news in the next month? 

Bummer.  He seemed to be a keeper.  Hope it was something stupid instead of something weird. (Ball lifters anyone?)

Wierd and fascinating to know what happened here.  It was reported last offseason with the Vikings stuff that Jim would be taking Weiss with him if he had taken an NFL job. Being attached at the hip like that and then this after just a year.

Roman intrigues me as he’s been successful at the type of Offense that Jim wants to run, but I say make Coach Moore the guy let Coach Newsome take more responsibility with OL move Jaybaugh to QB Coach with Jim and hire back Partridge for safeties.  Everyone knows their stuff and everyone can recruit.  

On the upside, maybe Weiss negotiated the deal with Santa via email as Jim to keep Harbaugh at Michigan …

I’m just waiting for the revelation that he was pulling a George Constanza and trying to get fired before an NFL team would offer.

Would love the hire to be one of these 2 guys, don’t know enough about Campbell if they keep in house.

Jimmie Dougherty - Arizona now with Fisch. Passing game was 4th last year. He worked here before under Harbaugh.

Brandon Streeter - Clemson OC just let go. Solid recruiter. Had a hand in all of Lawrence, DJ U, and Klubnik’s commitments. All 5-stars. He was the main recruiter for Davis, who everything I saw had Clemson in his top 5. 

I think both of these are great hires. But also aren’t huge names/ex head coaches that perhaps stir the pot with the rest of the O staff (Hart & Moore). Big names will want control. Pushing Moore back more then we likely want.
