He wasn't ready for JJ. No one was. GO BLUE!

Knowles has that don brown stubborness
November 26th, 2022 at 4:12 PM ^
The Knowesledge = the Knowledge?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:23 PM ^
100% this. Whole lotta flash, not much substance when facing a well-rounded offense. The two halves come down to Weiss/Moore taking advantage of the holes left open by his adjustments.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:46 PM ^
His defense wasn't very good against the few teams OSU played with an offensive pulse. Got hyped up for out-talenting weak Big Ten offenses.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:46 PM ^
Jim Knowles just gave up more points at home than Kerry Coombs did on the road.
Knowles truly is a Big XII defensive coordinator
November 26th, 2022 at 4:11 PM ^
45-23 is the new 42-27
This guy was worse!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:16 PM ^
This was a blowout!! Who'd a thunk?!
It feels great to be 12 and 0!
We're going to Indy!!!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
We are going to the National Championship.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
We are going to the National Championship.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:44 PM ^
Should have been 52-23, but refs took mercy on poor Stroud and OSU
November 26th, 2022 at 10:05 PM ^
This is exactly right. We have come to a time where refs have to have pity on OSU so they don’t get beat even worse. I honestly never thought this time would ever come.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:11 PM ^
I love that they brought in a new guy who did WORSE. Fuck them.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:13 PM ^
Well, who can blame him, everyone knows JJ can't hit the long ball.
Got fooled again!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:47 PM ^
JJ this week: Jokes on them, I missed ON PURPOSE
November 26th, 2022 at 4:13 PM ^
Knowles was outcoached by the Michigan offense. He had no answers in the second half.
What's the excuse this year buckeyes? You played at home, you had perfect weather. You got off to a good start in the game then you fell flat on your face.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:15 PM ^
I bet they're already blaming the refs for correcting their mistake with the down markers at the end of the 3rd and restoring the TO Michigan burned.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:20 PM ^
I went to Eleven Warriors and it's all "Harbaugh owns Day and we need a new coach." They know they got their asses kicked. No excuses this year!!!
November 26th, 2022 at 5:10 PM ^
Let's hope this translates to recruiting. If the OSU mystique is starting to tarnish, we will dominate.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:20 PM ^
OSU defense couldn't adjust to Michigan not having their Heisman candidate?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:30 PM ^
Team flu don't you know!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:16 PM ^
I love Jim Knowles. I’m all in on his awesome Cover 0
can we get a Kickstarter going for him to get an extension? I never want him to leave
November 26th, 2022 at 4:48 PM ^
Huddle all your safeties up on the line of scrimmage. What could possibly go wrong?!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:17 PM ^
Came in here thinking you were talking about Minter, but it works this way just as well!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:35 PM ^
Same!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:48 PM ^
Give Gattis' Broyles retroactively to Minter.
November 26th, 2022 at 5:17 PM ^
thought this about Minter too. I don’t know enough about X’s and O’s, but whatever magic Minter did at half was amazing
November 26th, 2022 at 4:19 PM ^
I never thought of Oklahoma State as a great defensive team
November 26th, 2022 at 4:19 PM ^
Knowles is their Don Brown! All I saw were Michigan players sprinting to the endzone all game!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
Oh, I am sure Jim doesn't remember any of that. But I do and thought the exact same thing. Wow!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:25 PM ^
Who? Sorry couldn't resist.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
Once again, Knowles has a mediocre record over the last 20 years. Last year at the other OSU was his best ever but it wasn't typical and actually, it wasn't that great last year given the league they were in.
Tressel and Meyer were iron compared to Day. If Day was tough, he wouldn't have punted while in the MIchigan side of the fleid.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:28 PM ^
I mean.....what was he expected to do today with a Michigan team that grew a long pass game during the first half, had linebackers throwing passes, an offense that became fully operational with 4 more cylinders than they have shown all season.
How do you stop that?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:29 PM ^
Jim Knowles has lost one game and the Buckeye fans are gonna call for his head. He may regret coming to Columbus.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:30 PM ^
They don't seem all that happy with the coaching over at 11W, do they?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:50 PM ^
2 losses and now they want the Wandering Fingerer himself back on the sideline. Couldn't happen to a nicer fanbase.
November 26th, 2022 at 5:12 PM ^
The Nebraska Grinder?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:32 PM ^
Soft as charmin!
November 26th, 2022 at 4:36 PM ^
I love the part of the broadcast where Joel was telling us that the upcoming UM offensive drive was going to be the biggest drive of Knowles' career--only to have Edwards break off his first long run of the 4th quarter.
*chef's kiss*
November 26th, 2022 at 4:36 PM ^
Hopefully we can keep this one around longer than a year eh?
November 26th, 2022 at 4:40 PM ^
this alum at the game was telling me how Knowles was fired from Cornell because, while he was great stopping the run with run blitzes he allowed all sorts of big plays downfield.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:50 PM ^
He's always been a gambler. He got away with it for 3 quarters.
Too bad there's a 4th.
November 26th, 2022 at 4:45 PM ^
He's Don Brown.
November 26th, 2022 at 5:07 PM ^
Let's talk about our new DC!! Hell of a job!!
November 26th, 2022 at 5:21 PM ^
I'm fine with Knowles sticking around for a while....
November 26th, 2022 at 5:39 PM ^
All year long - this Ohio State team is different. This defense is tough. Jim Knowles' coaching will bring them back to a championship level.
Today - they allowed 5 TDs of 45+ yards, and 4 of 69+ yards, on their home turf. Reality has set in for the Bucknuts and hopefully, the pundits.
