Game thread: Michigan v Rutgers
This is my first time starting a thread, hope I didn't fuck it up.
I was supposed to go to the Rutgers game. I've been planning this weekend for months with my friends who are Rutgers fans.
My dog is really sick. She has had liver disease for a while now and it has gotten worse and she probably has only a limited time left with me.
So I cancelled my weekend plans and I will be staying home and watching on TV. I need a bang to cheer me up.
Go Blue.

Dogs are the best. I'm sorry to hear about yours. Give her a big hug all night long.

BC gets 200 yards and a few TDs and goes to bench in the first half. Make it happen.

With Stroud and Hooker both pissing down their legs today. Corum has a chance to strengthen his Heisman argument.

Young just threw an INT in the endzone. Hopefully he'll have a bad night as well.

Bad pick thrown by Bama in the RZ.

Beat the Fighting Rutger Hauers

Weather is around 68 with little to no wind. Perfect weather for a beatdown, sorry Rutger...

GO BLUE!

Juggernaut Syracuse scored 9 points and lost to ??? Pitt. Clemson must be really good to need a ref to bail them out against Syracuse.

Awwww poor baby 😔 . Dogs are truly precious animals.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
The Spartans showed a lot of fight today. I didn't think that they had a puncher's chance.

Would really like to see Michigan use this mid-season scrimmage opportunity to work on their red zone production. No scoring plays from beyond the 20yd line. Receivers and ball carriers are to go out of bounds or take a knee if the play takes them within the 20yd line.

4 Michigan starters out.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:36 PM ^
WTF? Illness? Hope all those guys didn't get hurt in practice.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Covid or flu or some other infectious disease? If I had to take an absolutely wild guess. Didn't TAMU have like 20 people out with the flu today.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
The state of Michigan is dealing with an RSV outbreak right now too. I'd be surprised if they held out college football players for that, but maybe as a public health precaution.

Puking Corum suggests maybe illness
November 5th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
It is bizarre. None of those players were hurt in the field last week. Illness is possible. It is also possible that we don’t know everything that happened last Saturday night. But in that case I doubt it would be said for medical reasons.
Either way, just got a bit uncomfortable.

Next man up
November 5th, 2022 at 7:36 PM ^
We have more starters out than Sparty. WTF is going on?
November 5th, 2022 at 7:37 PM ^
Wow, Rutger really went out of their way to make us feel special, look at those lights!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:37 PM ^
Maybe we'll see a big game from Andrel tonight?
November 5th, 2022 at 7:37 PM ^
Pretty cool pregame!!

Jake Butt is twice the size of Brandon Gaudin.

Let's Go Blue!

Looks like there's about twenty-seven people in the stands
November 5th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
It usually gets full-ish because there are so many M alumni in the NYC area.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Damn Jake Butt making Gaudin look like a hobbit 😂

Sportsbook puts a +150 bonus up for Michigan bets.
BTN announces 4 starters out.
Hmmm.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
Geez. A lot of guys being held out
November 5th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
I can smell the Axe through my TV.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Gemon Green “banged up?”
How about “beaten by remorseless Spartans?”
Banged up is something that happens between the whistles.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Stinks to have 4 people out. Hopefully something small?
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
No Roman, no Hayes, no Paige, no Harrell. Is this damage from Sparty or just resting guys?
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Illness.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Go Blue! Beat Rutger!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Dang, a smoke screen! Clever, Rutger!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
From the Spartans to the Knights - back to back fake tough guys
November 5th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
I'm ready man! I am ready to GET IT ON. You know it!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
Not a bad way to start... WOOOO!! PASSING GAME!!!!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
This is the definition of a trap game. After the drama last week, so much focus on the assault by Coach Harbaugh, let's just hope the prep for Rutgers didn't suffer.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
I don't understand. We never throw on first down!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
There's a lot of "New Jersey" in that crowd, and I don't mean that as a compliment.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
There's a pass, you motherfuckers!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:42 PM ^
Opening up the book on first down. Nice.
November 5th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
They had, like, 9 in the box - WHY RUN???
LOL - did I do that right?
November 5th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
Pass to start!
November 5th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
Blake "Heisman" Corum.
