No, with their 5 star QB healthy they're probably undefeated and beat Bama. I think Texas will be pretty good going forward. I don't think they'll be good enough to win the SEC anytime soon though. I think they'll be in that Kentucky/Florida (I'm projecting), Oklahoma, and Tennessee group.

Matt Campbell is an example of someone staying somewhere too long. At this point he might as well hair stay
October 1st, 2022 at 7:53 PM ^
Really feels like he missed his golden moment to leave. Notre Dame got a new coach, Ohio State & Michigan are set for a while, Michigan State picked up Tucker (maybe that opens up in a year or two?) Those were the jobs he supposedly wanted but now I don't see those schools being interested in him. And there's also hotter candidates now too (Lance Leipold of Kansas will have a thousand Brinks trucks at his door if they're not already). Chris Klieman of Kansas State is also more likely to snatch a job than Campbell.
If Nebraska strikes out on both Kansas coaches, maybe they look to Campbell but he won't get nearly the money he would have a year or two ago
October 1st, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
Florida State will probably look at Deion Sanders, Auburn too.
That said, Campbell probably gets a call from both as well.
If you still believe Nebraska is still a better job because of tradition and conference, they will probably look at him. Would not be surprised at all if Campbell ends up at Nebraska.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:45 PM ^
Gotta beat Sparty. They are, at present, dreadful.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:45 PM ^
Wow…that was actually a really beautiful pass by Nebraska
October 1st, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^
Oliver Martin just caught a TD pass for Nebraska. Is he 25 years old?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:47 PM ^
Wow Oliver Martin is still playing. Is this his 3rd Big Ten school?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:47 PM ^
Hoosiers are real bad. Go 3 and out and allow a TD in the first 1:49 against this shit Nebraska team.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:53 PM ^
Indiana’s thing in pretty much every game so far this season is waiting until the second half to start playing.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:47 PM ^
Put your bus token in the bucket, get on the bus, we will drive you around the stadium, then you touch the rock, then you run down the hill, as is tradition.,,
October 1st, 2022 at 7:52 PM ^
Three tour busses just to take the Clemson players from one end of the stadium to the other.
There is way too much money in college football.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:55 PM ^
Nothing like starting the game 24 minutes late after all of the tv recruiting sales pitch for Clemson
October 1st, 2022 at 7:56 PM ^
yeah, I was watching that thinking the entire scene is pretty cool, yet it all just seems pretty stupid.
October 2nd, 2022 at 11:43 AM ^
Kermit - I agree with you. I thought it was ridiculous. Are they treating these 18 to 23 year old young men as children - or adults with some degree of accountability and responsibility.
IIRC, Clemson's practice facility for football actually has two features that I thought we "interesting" - to say the least. The first - is a slide from their second floor to the first - apparently, walking up and down stairs can be too strenuous or physically demanding. The second - is a putt putt golf course for they players use and recreation.
Is this how children - or men - should be treated - and, what expectations are being set for them.
Personally, I think it's ridiculous. And, I certainly hope that part of Michigan's discussion with prospects and their families / parents is - one aspect of being a player at Michigan - which is valued greatly - is the role of accountability and preparing for life after your playing days in Ann Arbor are complete.
Go Blue!

This is pretty cool (Clemson game).
October 1st, 2022 at 7:51 PM ^
Let's go Auburn, I wanna see purple faces on the sidelines.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:52 PM ^
Watching Nebraska isn't any fun anymore without Mrs. Frost's son.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:55 PM ^
I hate Scott Frost because of how he trash-talked Michigan in '97, instead of just making his own case like Brian Griese did.
But I don't really hate Nebraska unless we are playing them.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:59 PM ^
I’m rooting for them now just to make Frost look even worse.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:55 PM ^
Blake is going to have 300 yards against Indy
October 1st, 2022 at 8:02 PM ^
He’ll have to get them in the first half. We’re not going to need the starters in for too long.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:59 PM ^
I had to rewatch the Clemson lead in...that was a promo video for college football.
I love this sport!
October 1st, 2022 at 8:04 PM ^
Purple face not happy.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:08 PM ^
Really more of a mauve, I'm noticing
October 1st, 2022 at 8:04 PM ^
Auburn vs. LSU is a game folks.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
I could see Fresno State at UConn and Ball St / Northern Illinois, but can't watch Cal / Washington State. Joke conference
October 1st, 2022 at 8:58 PM ^
Joke former conference.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
I’m surprised that no Clemson player has town an ACL running down that ramps? Seems unnecessary.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
More or less unnecessary than the 1.5 block 3-tour bus police escort around half the stadium?
October 1st, 2022 at 9:01 PM ^
All of college football is gloriously unnecessary.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:09 PM ^
Mizzou leads Georgia 3-0 late in the first. If that were Indiana or Rutgers against Michigan this place would be in full meltdown.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
I’m sure their blogs are melting down. Different when looking at a team struggle when you have no emotions in the game. But I’m sure their boards have plenty of posters losing their shit.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:12 PM ^
The Georgia board is probably in full meltdown
October 1st, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
Apparently pass interference is still a thing even when the ball is thrown 10 yards out of bounds. Watching Indiana and Nebraska. Hopefully Maryland running tempo prepared Michigan for Indiana’s tempo.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Up your butt, Dabo
October 1st, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Having only bands playing music is definitely the move. Great atmosphere in Death Valley
October 1st, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
LSU looks really bad…against a team that just got blown out at home by Penn State.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:20 PM ^
GVSU grad, love to see BK losing.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
Missouri up 10-0 on Georgia.
Georgia is looking mortal for the first time since the first Bama game last year.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:23 PM ^
Paging the Georgia Bulldogs.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:25 PM ^
People complain about Fox commercials, but ABC night games are the absolute worst. This Clemson game is nothing but commercial breaks.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:27 PM ^
FG - commercial- kickoff- commercial- one play - commercial
October 1st, 2022 at 8:30 PM ^
If we’re lucky we’ll get some baseball cut-ins too!
October 1st, 2022 at 8:35 PM ^
Fox must have been pissed during our game earlier today. Every scoring drive was slow and took tons of time off the clock. Usually they can cram in about ten commercial breaks in that amount of time per drive. Not today.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:39 PM ^
It's a dreary, rainy night here in West Virginia ... and the Mountaineers getting clobbered (so far) by Texas doesn't help!
October 1st, 2022 at 8:41 PM ^
Stetson Bennett, game manager, having a rough night so far.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:45 PM ^
When we beat them, they'll talk about having to come back with a better athlete so they can keep up with teams like Michigan.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:41 PM ^
Stetson Bennett looking like Payton Thorne tonight.
