Well I guess the drinking thread got started early
It's nearly 5 o'clock somewhere.
You can have all of my points!
He just got the jump on XM, but I still need to know what everyones drinking and what we're cooking out!.
Grilling chicken kabobs and drinking vodka tonight. Maybe watch a couple of Friday the 13th movies. Just happy the work week is over.
I'm about to hotbox this rental car and pick up some nachos.
My girlfriend took me out in Grand Rapids for early birthday cocktails. Had a sazerac in the amway grand lumber baron then Sidebar for a Manhattan (wild turkey rare breed) was impressed with that one.
I hate to be that guy, but let's look at this logically.
- yes. great win. was a great day, and now I have a smile on my face when i think of it.
- No, we don't own them yet. It was one game, and in a lot of people's eyes, it was guaranteed to happen one day.
- Comparing Ryan Day to John Cooper is premature. Harbaugh is closest to Cooper, since he has a similar record.
Act like we have been there.
Shoot, JH's winning percentage against OSU (.167, 1-5) is still lower than Cooper's winning percentage against U-M (.192, 2-10-1, and that's not counting the ASU Rose Bowl).
Nice win for U-M last year, but "Day = Cooper" is kind of premature to say the least.
Dude...how many people have you seen here seriously compare Day to Cooper...not counting this troll?
You've got James Franklin to worry about so you might want to sit this one out.
I would also argue that it is BadJuJu (or whatever OPs name is) to keep thumping our respective chests. We won--we had to win--and hopefully it evens things out a bit.
No chest thumping on my part what so ever. I just said I'm still enjoying it.
Fuck that. I’m chest thumping all year
No one hates joy more than the Michigan fanbase. That game was kick ass and I will relish in the glory of O JA BO and “but we had the sniffles” excuses all year. I will not act like I’ve been there before because I haven’t.
"I hate to be that guy"
Proceeds to be that guy.
Plan to milk this bastard until toe meets leather in November.
Why must you be a thief of joy?
Can’t be drunk all day if you don’t start early
Johnny Walker and a good cigar. Same thing I had at this concert. Those boise can finger bang bang like no one else! To bad the split up!
I love the randomness of this post. The timing of it makes no sense yet it makes all of the sense. +1 to you and your wife.
It's in response to someone posting yesterday how watching The Game is just as good as it was last November. I watch it A LOT! The photo is icing on the cake.
gotta gotta be down
It has been waaaaayyyyyy too long since we've been reminded about this. You are a gentleman and a scholar. My only regret is I have but one point to give.
Not enough people are aware of this.
OP’s user name matches well with picture.
you can tell it was cold outside that day. Snowy. 42-27. In the snow.
Bad Juju was the name of our first boat. After 20 years, we got a bigger one. It's named Mo' Bad Juju.
The crowd that day was different. Something snapped. It was as if we all collectively decided we had enough.
Michigan = Raphie
OSU = Scut Farkus
LOVE the reference to the "Scott Farkus Affair", as it came to be known.
I was so pleased with the crowd that day. Very LOUD and the post-game celebration was heartfelt and intense, yet well-behaved.
We were the waiter and they were the duck
They fans on the field were laughing like the family looking at the headless duck!
Great photo! One for the ages. Our #25 really had it going that day.
Happy times indeed. Let's keep it going! The only thing better than 42-27 would be winning in C-Bus this year.
Don't you know?
Pump it up
youve got to pump it up
I don't understand the post title.
Surely it can't be a reference to the football game played on November, 27 2021, where we beat OSU by a score of 42-27, and Hassan HASKINS scored 5 TDs, the last being a walk-in gimme to put the score at 42-27?
I named my dog "42-27" so I get to say it every day.
Other facts about 42-27 (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to find these games):
- Tom Brady is 0-1 all-time as a starting QB in pro/college games that ended with a score of 42-27.
- Tom Brady, however, was 1-0 all-time as a starting QB in games at Michigan that ended with the teams combining to score 69 points.
- Michigan is 1-0 all-time in games besides last year's OSU game that ended with a score of 42-27.
Not again. Yes, again.
This image will * never * get old.
He haz a cold sad
+1 for the glorious counterpoint to the OP. This pic will never get old.
Haskins just scored again
Hutch just got another sack
Drinking: Sparkling Water (unsweetened). Still losing the lbs, down to 209 from 235. Labatt later on the porch.
Eating: Capri Pizza (Southfield). Round. Extra cheese and pepperoni. Fabulous.
42.
The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Which, to a Michigan fan, is also beating Ohio State in football.
So poetic, that score.
Let's go!
