Brandon Johns 2-2, 5 points, 3 rebounds, 3 turnovers. Starts both halves.
Moussa Diabate 6-7, 14 points, 7 rebounds. Continues to have to wait 5-8 minutes for the other team to get a lead or cut into Michigan's existing lead before subbing in.
Make it make sense.

We all saw with our own eyes Collins looked better and the team played better when he was out on the floor. I don’t know why the coaches don’t. Or maybe they do and they’re trusting that the starters will get better.

From game one you could see he wasn't close to Mike Smiths level. I didn't expect it to be this bad though.

I think you need to move Eli to point to calm things down for a few games. Let the freshmen get their feet wet in a more controlled scheme and give Jones a few more practices to learn the offense.

Eli might be a better option now but he's not the answer for long term success. He's a 2 with some 1 attributes. We know how good this offense is with a true 1.
I'm starting to wonder what the coaches ever saw in Jones. I really believed he would slide right in dishing out dimes and making good choices leading this team. I figured his jumper wouldn't be as good but still better than X.
Problems are everywhere though. Johns, Houstan and Williams seem constantly rushed. Like the game is way too fast right now. the regression just in the first 6 games makes me wonder if they can even win 14 games.
Crazy we are even talking like this but I haven't seen 1 thing that says this team is improving.

I'm not advocating long term, but more of an interim measure to get the train back on track. Everything looks discombobulated. Let someone who knows the offense run it for a bit, otherwise no one is going to be developing properly.

I think we now know Howard is a great recruiter, relates to his players, but Howard is AN AWFUL X&Os coach.

The guy he brought in to be the starting point guard is having trouble adjusting, his senior forward is having his troubles, his freshman are, well freshman. You can be the best X's and O's guy out there, but if your squad is having adjustment troubles, youth troubles, chemistry troubles, your not going to look like a good coach.

Turnovers alone can make this game a blowout even with all the bad. Howard HAS to fix that immediately. The offense flowed better this game than the previous ones. You save those possessions and a lot more positive stuff to say.

I’m glad they won. Unfortunately they didn’t play well. Young team have allot to work on and they will get better. I trust Howard.

Watched David DeJulius last night for Cincy and couldn’t help but wonder how he’d look as a senior starter. Always liked his game and thought he had a game similar to Derrick Walton. Also, he had 24 points against a good pretty good Arkansas team.

Jones can't even dribble or pass the ball. They took a chance on him and it didn't pan out. Howard might as well start Frankie Collins we might lose some tough games ,but he might develop mid /late season?. If we continue to start Jones we are going to lose games anyway. If Howard and staff don't recognize this we have big problems.

That's a tightrope the coaches have to walk, for sure. This is an adjustment for him too, both with a new team and a better level of talent. Another guy that needs to get things straightened out.

This team is as bad and discombobulated as any team I have seen since the early belein days. They are desperate need of a point guard. Jones is not that guy.

Bingo. Nailed it. Beilein's kids were extremely well-coached. These are mostly Howard's recruits, and we are seeing the results of Howard's poor coaching.

ANOTHER very disappointing outing..For all the hype this team has its disappointed and downright looked BAD at times..I lost all my optimism for this team this year..How Ironic the football team was under rated and the basketball overrated...In watching other top 20 teams this year We are WAY BEHIND and not even close..20 turnovers against a former Div 2 team? WTF

The past several games has revealed who this team is and it makes me ask WTF were they doing in October?!!
Having said that, the fact they are headed to Chapel Hill is frightening. I am resigning myself to the fact they will be a middling B10 team and none of the freshman will leave after this season due to the obvious
