I thought it was like ice hockey where it becomes sudden death (with last ups) but the dumb ass announcer said it was another round of 5 so it became very confusing.
That just confirmed that nobody actually understands this sport. Commentators said another 5 shot shootout. Michigan scores and they win. Michigan didn’t even know if they were allowed to celebrate yet.
Ha, yeah they did. When Michigan started celebrating they definitely weren’t sure it was over
that was really funny. Very stressful game. Did anybody figure out how they call fouls in this game? Oh, and what's the green card!?!

My daughter plays Field Hockey in high school. I frequently don't understand what I'm seeing at that level either. She has to explain it to me.

That was an exciting and tense game. I though they were done after Louisville scored to tie with one minute left.

The block was clean.
Even in this match, that first block of the shootout apparently wasn't clean. Our keeper got some sort of unintentional foul called on her, shot was replayed, and Louisville scored.

Me too! Walking down Franklin one day with my Michigan hat on a 70 year old lady did the timeout hand signal towards me. Made me laugh and be sad.

Tuned in for the shootouts and gotta say the commentating sucked there. Great win, but as a fan I felt almost cheated because I didn’t get the thrill of victory feeling after the sudden death goal. Really bizarre. Go blue. Beat NC.
