Will this man be at the Citrus Bowl?
I'm hoping this guy will be at the Citrus Bowl.
I do hope he's there, because this guy might be there:
But then again, I haven't seen him in a couple years too.
After watching some of the sloppiness in yesterday's less known Bowl Games, it was reaffirmed to me that, to be at the top, a head coach has to have a drill sergeant in him. I thought Jim Harbaugh had one in him:

Yep, you're probably right.

This man will be there.

If you get the chance to talk to the Michigan head football coach from 3 years ago ask him to be there too.
December 22nd, 2019 at 3:11 PM ^
It’s possible. If so, I’ll let him know there’s a weird dude with multiple accounts, on a blog that wants him to act crazy, even when his team is playing like poo poo.
December 22nd, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
I don't have multiple accounts.
You do?
December 22nd, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
It’s possible.
Then make sure you do it.

Consider a new hobby because these posts are just a waste of time. If you don’t have breaking news, keep your strange thoughts to yourself.

You are fucking joke Mineral Queen. How many accounts do you have?
December 22nd, 2019 at 8:46 PM ^
I don't understand the whole "give me passionate crazy Jim Harbaugh". Personally, I would like "Actually Beats Ohio State and Wins a Bowl Game in the Same Year" Jim Harbaugh. I don't care if he is going crazy on the sidelines or playing Connect Four with Nico Collins.
Just freaking prepare your team and make Michigan look like it actually belongs on the same field as Alabama.
December 22nd, 2019 at 9:05 PM ^
I want the same.
It's just that I watched every 49er game when he was there. I saw those things in the gifs happen live. I remember the game with the intensity on his face, and spit flying out between his teeth. It was a playoff game. They showed that clip, in slow motion, as they were going to a commercial break.
I don't care if he throws a clipboard or headset. I don't want that. That's not the point at all. I do want him back to passion and intensity. The top is a very small place. It's very hard to get there. His intensity level the past 3 years is good for 10-2, or 9-3. If that's enough for him, that's ok. But if he is intending to go for 11-1, and possibly getting 12-0, I'd like to know. I don't see that now though. I don't know if I ever will again. The way things are the last 3 years maybe have already shown me what he wants.

Football games are won and lost with X's and O's and jimmies and joe's.

Can I get the interpretation of that?

Yes he will be there because he is the head football coach.

You mean this guy?
No, that guy left 3 years ago.
This guy is here now:

From reading your comments over the weeks, I think you are unhappy, even angry.

It's funny you say that after posting this garbage thread.

Merry Christmas.

Well, a lot of your comments smack of anger.
December 22nd, 2019 at 2:43 PM ^
That dude and that way of coaching is dead. Even actual Drill Sergeants aren't like they used to be.
I'm not saying I agree with it.
December 22nd, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
So nobody has the desire to win anymore. Thanks. I won't waste my passion on winning then.
December 22nd, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
I think Harbaugh calmed down on his own to improve his resume, just in case he's interested to jump back into the NFL.
December 22nd, 2019 at 2:45 PM ^
I'm not as tech savvy as others so once a quick Google search didn't come up with anything I have up. But, there was a great JH intense fist pump "Yes!" after the Files Jackson TD against OSU a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it faded as our team did. But, it's always there waiting to come out, but the team has to perform.
December 22nd, 2019 at 2:52 PM ^
He was back from the moment of that touchdown to the moment of that extra point attempt. If we are honest with ourselves we all could have all just turned the game off when he missed that.
December 22nd, 2019 at 3:05 PM ^
My jaw dropped when I saw that formation for the extra point. I knew then things were not right. And I was frickin angry. Why pull that crap? To throw Ohio St off their game? Like it would work.
December 22nd, 2019 at 5:41 PM ^
It made absolutely no sense. What was crazy about it, if anybody has any lingering hope that JH was some football savant genius, it was dispelled right there. What was gained by “showing it” against Indiana? What advantage was gained. Made sure OSU was ready for it? Kept them honest against trying to block the PAT? What was the damn point.
It honestly felt like Harbaugh trying to do something those “smart coaches do” and failing comically at it. SMH

Files could end up in the file cabinet.
December 22nd, 2019 at 6:21 PM ^
+1 for the Files Jackson comment lol.

Harbaugh would get flagged for everything Saban does...
December 22nd, 2019 at 3:03 PM ^
Possibly.
But it's no coincidence that the best team over the last 10 years has had a man like Nick Saban coaching it.
December 22nd, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
It's more so no coincidence that the best team over the last 10 years has had the best recruiting class every year for the last 10 years
December 22nd, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
I don't get your reasoning. Alabama didn't start getting those kind of recruiting classes until after winning a National Championship. You think those recruiting classes just fell to Alabama by fate or chance?
December 22nd, 2019 at 4:54 PM ^
What? In 2008 and 2009 they had the 3rd best classes in the country with a bunch of 5 stars. Saban started bringing in talent right away, that was the biggest factor in helping him win a bunch of national titles. Not being a jackass on the sidelines.
December 22nd, 2019 at 5:00 PM ^
How are you separating Nick Saban from Nick Saban?
December 22nd, 2019 at 5:08 PM ^
And without winning National Championships recruiting would have dropped off. He would not have all the 5 stars he has year after year.
I can't see how you can separate who Nick Saban is, in his intensity, and say he would still be the same without it, in every way, including in recruiting. I'm not saying he throws fits at recruits houses like he does on the sidelines. But there is no way his intensity is left at the door when he goes to visit a recruit and his family.
And I'm also saying he has not been like that on the sidelines for 2 years. And not coincidentally, Alabama got blown away in the National Championship last year, and has 2 losses this year, and didn't make the playoffs.
And Jim Harbaugh lost his intensity 3 years ago. The team had been building in 2015 and 20216. But it doesn't feel like they have been building over the last 3 years.
Or does it?
December 22nd, 2019 at 6:04 PM ^
You seriously think him being less intense on the sidelines is why they haven't won the national championship the past 2 years? Maybe Clemson just had a better team last year. Maybe LSU just has a better team this year, and then they lost their starting QB and potential #1 overall pick and then lost to Auburn. There are plenty of reasons for why Alabama has gone a whole 2 years without winning a national title, and Saban throwing his headset less is low on that list.
December 22nd, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
He is less intense on the sidelines. Can you agree on that, regardless if you think it doesn't affect how his team plays?
December 22nd, 2019 at 7:05 PM ^
Maybe LSU just has a better team this year
Did you see the Alabama vs LSU game? If you did, did Alabama look uncharacteristically disorganized at times?
