i can't believe JH has gone this long without doubling down on garza; especially with davis in there. whoever has iowa's worst shooter on D should double down every time garza gets the ball in the post.

Brando is such a moron. Iowa cuts the lead to 8 from 10 and he says that 8 points has been Michigan’s biggest lead so far. Wut?

we are definitely hitting shots, but then again, it's iowa D.  we should be able to run them out of the gym.  i expect several dunks in the second half.

Interesting that a team coached by a big is willing to let the opposition post up because those possessions just aren't as efficient in the long term.

Especially against Iowa's defense.

What a fun team to watch.  Coach Howard has made this team way more versatile than last year.  Sky is the limit with Coach Howard.  Go Blue !!!

Iowa had 15 made field goals in the first half. Garza had 11 of them. And he shot 6 of their 8 free throws.

Looking at it another way: Garza had more field goals in that half than any Michigan player had field goal *attempts.* Except for Livers, Garza’s field goals were more than double any other Michigan player’s field goal attempts. His usage number in that half must be some kind of record.
