Davis s such a liability out there.
December 6th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
Davis was stud in relief
December 6th, 2019 at 7:16 PM ^
Johns looks aggressive tonight, team needs him more involved.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:16 PM ^
God I hate Iowa. Stop bitching. You’re getting all the calls.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:35 PM ^
And smack that Garza hack job in the f-ING chops !
December 6th, 2019 at 7:16 PM ^
Need to get this thing to double digits
December 6th, 2019 at 7:16 PM ^
Going to hard to win this game when Iowa has the refs on there side.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:17 PM ^
johns is waking up
December 6th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
Yes he is.
We are a different team if he & Wagner live up to their rankings.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:17 PM ^
Maybe we need to guard that fucking Garza
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
Well, Teske got two terrible calls against him, Castleton got his teeth knocked out (with no call), and Davis is doing his best.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
Are we seriously going to let that fucking guy single-handedly beat us?!?!?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
This is starting toi make me nervous cant stop the Ogre
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
Are we hedging on screens now? Seems like it on defense.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
Garza flopped but the foul is on Davis anyway. wut?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:19 PM ^
Castleton may be getting some stitches. We could use the Big Stick back out there.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
Garza ?'s good.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
i can't believe JH has gone this long without doubling down on garza; especially with davis in there. whoever has iowa's worst shooter on D should double down every time garza gets the ball in the post.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
Castleton being out is killing us.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:21 PM ^
Garza was the only player that worried me going into this game. I was right.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:21 PM ^
Brando is such a moron. Iowa cuts the lead to 8 from 10 and he says that 8 points has been Michigan’s biggest lead so far. Wut?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
We have more points already than we had against louisville
December 6th, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
castleton and wagner fumble a lot of passes. need to get much stronger with the ball.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:25 PM ^
Castleton is a dude! Took Garza's best shot and now giving it right back.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:25 PM ^
Reading this thread I thought we were down by double digits, check the score and we are winning.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:27 PM ^
Same! I checked here before my ESPN app and assumed - based on the posts - we were down and looked like crap. Instead, we are up by 12 and scored 50(!!!) in the first half!
good grief...this place needs to get laid
December 6th, 2019 at 7:25 PM ^
that fucking kreiner killed us in a game a while back.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:26 PM ^
GREAT closeout to the first half!!!
December 6th, 2019 at 7:26 PM ^
Great defense by Simpson on Bohannon at the end of the half. Never let him breathe.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:27 PM ^
Manage to hold Garza to under 27 points next half and Michigan should be fine.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
But if not we win by 24 ?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:27 PM ^
we are definitely hitting shots, but then again, it's iowa D. we should be able to run them out of the gym. i expect several dunks in the second half.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:28 PM ^
This brand of Michigan basketball is a a lot of fun to watch
December 6th, 2019 at 7:40 PM ^
Agreed. Coach Howard is the bomb !
December 6th, 2019 at 7:28 PM ^
Good spurt to end the half.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:28 PM ^
Interesting that a team coached by a big is willing to let the opposition post up because those possessions just aren't as efficient in the long term.
Especially against Iowa's defense.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:29 PM ^
Most aggressive johns I’ve ever seen
December 6th, 2019 at 7:30 PM ^
I like basketball JH more than football JH. 50 points in the first half.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:30 PM ^
The hedging on defense is a change from the drop screens we’ve been playing all year. I wonder what the thought there is.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:34 PM ^
Not giving Bohannan an inch, I'd imagine. Also Garza's like 50% from three apparently?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:35 PM ^
Ahh wurd. That would do it.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:31 PM ^
I'm pretty sure these guys could beat Louisville.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:32 PM ^
despite the fast pace, only 4 TOs. i will take it.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:36 PM ^
also 10-10 from the line
December 6th, 2019 at 7:32 PM ^
What a fun team to watch. Coach Howard has made this team way more versatile than last year. Sky is the limit with Coach Howard. Go Blue !!!
December 6th, 2019 at 7:33 PM ^
Wow , VT giving Duke a game. Michigan State should feel good about losing to both?
December 6th, 2019 at 7:35 PM ^
Or very bad about losing to both. Maybe Duke, as of now, just isn’t very good. They did lose to a 200+ ranked team, after all.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
MSU is very overrated. We would beat Duke, Kentucky, and Virginia Tech.
December 6th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
Holy crap, Garza has 27 points at the half! And Iowa is still down 12!
December 6th, 2019 at 7:41 PM ^
Iowa had 15 made field goals in the first half. Garza had 11 of them. And he shot 6 of their 8 free throws.
Looking at it another way: Garza had more field goals in that half than any Michigan player had field goal *attempts.* Except for Livers, Garza’s field goals were more than double any other Michigan player’s field goal attempts. His usage number in that half must be some kind of record.
