Bama looks really god. But their dominant offense isn't transcendent yet, the first time they're playing a real defense.

(BTW I think their best win this year is four-loss Texas A&M; LSU's are all teams that are falling apart. Our schedule hasn't turned out to be as murderous as it looked, but theirs is even less impressive).

Wait did I hear that right?

Danielson says, "And not only did they hold them to a field goal, the bonus is they took 7 minutes off the clock." Danielson is acting like LSU has conceded and just wants to get out of the game allowing as few points as possible.

Specifically, their top safety is suspended for the first half. So if they can keep it close in this half, their defense might improve later. Danielson has been talking about it and there's some logic to it, especially with how fast Bama can run up the score.

"What a beautiful interception. Just a great throw, a perfect spiral into double coverage. Kid has a cannon of an arm when he gives the ball to the other team." -SEC announcers

I know that Dyche is always like a home game for most visitors, but the ND fans tonight make everyone else look like amateurs. Game might as well be in South Bend.

So #82 of Alabama was hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, while he and the CB were on the ground he violently kicked the CB in the head*.  Not targeting because the health of defensive players is of little concern.

*Edit:  Evidently it wasn't the violent kick to the head, it was the taunting of the crowd that drew the flag.

I have a feeling there are plays in the playbook we haven't seen yet... which is the first time I feel I can say that heading into November in a LOOOOONG time. The pass to Gentry was a thing of beauty. I love watching defenders look lost when we break something big... the "AH @#*@#*, where did they go? How did they do that?"

LETS GO CATS! This is the perfect game for ND to go down. We won at NW, so ND losing won’t hurt. Eliminating them + NW possible west champion Good for us.
