Tomorrow our men of maize and blue head to their evil step brother's neighborhood to their home in East Lansing. Most of the experts are picking the other sibling to win this game tomorrow. I say fuck that, fuck them and fuck MSU. Michigan is going into that stadium jacked up and ready to bust some heads and seeing as it's the eve before the storm, let's get some pep and Michigan fury going on tonight by everybody posting their hatred of that school from East Lansing and that team from that other Michigan college! FUCK STATE! GO BLUE! Paul has taken residence back in his old neighborhood and would love to keep his home. The only way they're taking it from us is from our cold dead hands.

Well, I made a mistake and ventured over to The Only Colors, and wow, it's beyond mind-blowing how delusional and narrow-sighted many of the posters over there are. I mean, anyone with any level of knowlege and critical reasoning can see just how insane some of the statements and claims they make are.  I guess it's hard for me to understand with my worldview how people like that exist, who only see and find what they're looking for to confirm their view of the world around them.  As the great Chaz Michael-Michaels says, "it's mind bottling."

Of course UM has many fans like that too, so, glass houses and all I guess.

My only solace is Greg Mattisons defense should be able to hold the line.  Sparty when faced with any form of competent defense has been stymied.  If Gardner can avoid the giveaway this will stay close.  However I fear AL has the same realization and goes into a shell.  If Borges can find a way to open up the playbook or be creative and Gibbons gets his swag back Michigan wins this game.

I have been surprised by Gardner's turnover problems.  He's too bright and too talented for those to be his defining performances and this afternoon he'll have the opportunity to shed that identity. Here's the thing...even in his mistake plagued games he's not hung his head, he battles back.  DG will get it done today.

Countess and Ryan make the defense theirs today.

I'd like to see us go uptemto directly following any big play, meaning, anything over 10 yds we immediately go "nascar" and go for a knockout punch... or something like that. I haven't exactly thought it through all the way.

Having a bye week last week could not have come at a better time. The boys are rested, and they're ready to kick some ass.

It's about time we beat Sparty on their home turf. Long overdue. No better way to crush a program and remind them of their place then to beat them on their own home field.
