decent blocking can do. Fitz has been fine this season, just needed better blocking upfront.

and dance when you have to make guys miss in the backfield. Other than Barry Sanders I can think of many RB's who have been able to be negate poor blocking on a consistent basis.

Some areas we don't look much better this game than the last few, but the running game definitely looks improved. Moving N/S and not taking all of those tackles for loss this week. Positive sign. Still Minnesota, but positive sign.

critical towards only one team. The option to mute doesn't excuse the announcers acting like jackasses in what should be a neutral broadcast. Completely ridiculous.

on him when he is commiting turnovers and not playing well. These guys are ragging on him when he is 11-14 with no turnovers. Big difference.

but I think it may be a bit of a tipoff to put Lewan on the side we are running every play. I think a counter off that formation could be pretty effective though

A period can't end on an accepted penalty unless the penalty includes loss of down. If you don't want the offense to have another play, you have to decline the penalty.

UM defense would have yielded 10 points by the midway point of the first quarter. The difference with a Mattison led defense is even when they don't play well, they still hold the opposition to a reasonable amount.
