Puto when the opponent's keeper kicks the GK; now throwing all kinds of shit at the Costa Rican trying to take a corner kick.
PS - Dos Santos looks like a teenage girl.
Yeah, they were throwing things No place for that
Geoff Cameron's played full back for Stoke basically all season, and Brad Evans has played in midfield for the Sounders all season, so let's swap them? Eddie and Fabian Johnson out wide. Just don't get it. Where is Zusi? What the hell does Brek Shea have to do to get a game?!
Graham Zusi is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards and Jermaine Jones is out with a concussion.
That silly tackle not only cost us a goal but cost him a game.
Cameron started some game as holding MF for Stoke.
And people wonder why Pulis was sacked. Cameron's not overly comfrotable on the ball so playing him in midfield seems rather pointless to me.
Yeah. My guess is that Holden is not ready to go 90 yet.
I'm so happy with how wrong you were, I think Cameron and Altidore were MOTM last night. Cameron looked fantastic.
Brek Shea is not that good. There are much better players that fit the kind of offense that JK wants to play.
He needs to work on his technique and tactical play if he wants to play winger. If he plays, I want him to come in off the bench.
But at least he's actually a winger, instead of a striker or a fullback. Klinsmann wants to play a possession game so one would question why 2 full backs are playing in midfield. Brek would at least offer natural width because the US have a tendency to get too narrow.
It make sense if he thinks those two fullbacks are better on the ball and have better vision. I think Shea will get his chance once he shows better tactical play. He has the athleticism to run at defenders, he just need to improve on decision making. The same applies to someone like Josh Gatt.
Cameron made a hell of a pass on the 2nd goal. I guess he should have been playing fullback eh?
Seven minutes? Talk about the advantage of playing at home. Is that much time really needed?

I love US soccer, but it's a little disheartening rooting for them. They are so far away from even contending for a cup.
They were in the Confeds Cup Final in '09 and held a 2-0 lead over Brasil. A second half capitulation kept them from glory. And that was with BB.
I understand, but a 2-0 lead over a good team once doesn't make you a world cup contender. Right now, this team isn't going to sniff the quarterfinals, let alone make a deep run. Very weak in the back, and no real proven playmakers. I long for the day when people take this sport seriously in America, as it is truly the greatest game in the world.
You said 'Cup'. You didn't specify which. For a footballing nation of our stature, a Confeds Cup victory is an absolute triumph. Baby steps.
I hear what you're saying, but it feels like we've been saying baby steps for so long, and it doesn't appear that the talent in our system is going to give us a chance to compete on the world stage any time soon. It's frustrating.
When teams like Argentina, Brasil, Spain, Germany, etc are always churning out top players, it's difficult for a country like us to keep up. We don't pump all our resources into football academies and coaches and things like those other countries.
I think we compete fine, personally. Just look at the teams who've put us out of competitions recently. Germany in '02, group of death in '06 and Ghana (who in my eyes were semifinalists) in '10. Hell, we made the last 8 in '02 and gave Germany all they wanted in that game.
Reason why I support Germany always. I've honestly always liked Deutschland fussball I just root for Ireland cause its my heritage in my family.
I like Robbie Keane.
and I left my vuvuzela in my other pants.
right on the left side of Panama's goal, would the US player have been better off putting that on the ground despite the defender not far behind, or should that always get taken in the air despite it seeming like a lower percentage shot? Also curious why the home team is listed first.
I'm sure both of those questions are dumb, sorry.
Home team is always listed first in international/club soccer. Someone might know more details than this, but that's how it is.
Was there last night as well. The atmosphere was electric!!!
Wow Bradley is playing like absolute ass tonight.
Or it could have been some baseball game going on at the same time.
I was in Seattle last year but never had the chance to visit either CenturyLink or SafeCo. It would have been nice to be in that crowd right now. Damn it.
One of these days, I'm going to make it up to Seattle to watch a Sounders game. I want to see them play the Galaxy, but their games vs. Portland are legendary.
These dummy officials I swear
I like how soccer refs, when they don't want to award a penalty kick but they know something happened, they just say "Uhhhh free kick for the other team!"
JOZY!!!
