Super!
But it is difficult to get a good shot of the 86 from this TD.
it was hard to find a good pic of it though with the number.
Touchdown Manningham!
I never noticed Breaston getting laid out by Hart in that video, while he was trying to celebrate with Manningham.
He does get laid out. And to redeem his name on this thread I present:
watching the Breaston highlights. Had Denard been a receiver, how much alike this footage would be to his. Slap a 16 over the 15 on these clips and it could almost pass for his highlights.
From Breaston to Robinson to ??? Who will emerge as the next "Lightning in a Bottle" in the Maize and Blue?
Also, great memories of Manningham. What a talent.
He's the TRUTH!!!
when does summer / fall camp start? maybe we should do a countdown on that instead?
I'll second that motion.
Um.....no.
The countdown is always to the start of the season or a big game. Fall camp is just fall camp.
but couldn't find a good one.
I'm hoping Jehu#86 can break out this year. Would be nice to have him/someone stretch the field for us.
I know it sounds like sour grapes to Buckeye honks, but we should have won that game and would have if it were not for Crable's hit to the head on Troy Smith. We forced them into a 4th and long on that play, which would have been a punt, and I know M would have scored to take the lead. The way the defenses were playing that day, no team was stopped from scoring almost all game.
The 2006 and 2007 (more so than 2006 IMO, but what a disaster of season 2007 was) teams were built and talented enough to win titles, but alas, it didn't happen. Oh well. Brady has this team and recruiting where it needs to be and I feel we will win a title with him.
How bout this one?
I think it was MGoShoe, IIRC.
With help from Boyz n da Pahokee.
old school Manningham, love it. Still my favorite college receiver
It will be here before you know it. For me at least, once it gets under 100 days, it seems to come quickly and then just like that, it's gone again. I hate how for football, it seems the longet to arrive but also flies by so quickly. It's the worst.
His game in 06 againist nd sent them reeling. They couldn't stop Henne-to-Manningham...that was a GOOD day.
Let us also not forget, of course, that Michigan had two All-Americans that wore 86 - John Anderson and Robert Westfall. I believe Anderson went on to be drafted in the first round by Green Bay in 1978 and had a rather productive, decade-long career with them. Westfall played for the Lions at some point, if I remember correctly.
who the hell would downvote this thread?
yes you did, unless someone hacked the voting details.
