Forcier on SI
Was I sposed to be boycotting the Freep?
They show the new SI cover with Forcier in the top right. Looks to be a good article on the team.

Tate is now only 55 covers behind Michael Jordan and trails Ali by 37.

Use the printer version of Freep articles in links, that way there are no ads. I'm not a fan of boycotting the entire paper, I like to check out Detroit news and it's generally the best source in the area for things other than sports, but doing that will allow people to see the info in the article without feeling all dirty.

I wonder what if feels like to have a picture (mind you a small picture) on the cover of SI after playing in just TWO (Count them 2) College football games. Has anyone ever done it faster?

before clicking the (second, obv) link, i was thinking, 'oh hell, that means an extra trip to the store on friday after going out'..
then, i chuckled.
hey, he IS on the cover though i guess. :)

SI usually has regional covers. I'm not sure if this is or not, but if so, the one on the west coast probably has Barkley instead.

"The Return of the Wolverines" on the cover of SI (even if it is just the corner flag).....I guess that makes it official.

Does the curse still apply if its only a small picture?

No, it does not! (Whew)

No, but I may have to consider dumping Adrian Peterson in my fantasy league now.

not. But I do recall the last time we had a small, corner picture like that on SI was after the ND game in 2003 (pic of Chris Perry) and obviously we went on to lose to Oregon the next game.
And then after Oregon beat us they were the featured picture on the cover the next week and went on to lose their next game. Crazy stuff.

Is that that is actually the difference in proportion between Tate and AD. No sugarcoat.
God bless our ballsy Gnome QB.

Rosenburg's first SI article on Freshmen hazing. More deadly than the swirly is the freshmen right of passage "The Wolverine!"

We're talking about the Michigan-Notre Dame game! Both teams went into the game undefeated. It should have been a full cover photo! SI is dissing both schools people. The FREEP should now have company on the "do not click/buy" list!
