Wisconsin is hanging in there at Value City Arena - currently it's 26-24 Bucks. This game is kind of a win-win for us. An OSU win clinches us the #3 seed in the BTT, while a UW win puts us in a tie for 2nd place. I'm pulling for the latter. It's a huge longshot, but we can still share the conference title if the following things take place:
-Michigan wins out, winning at Illinois and PSU
-MSU loses at Indiana and vs. OSU
-OSU loses today or Wednesday (at Northwestern) and then wins at Sparty.
None of those results, individually, would be all that shocking, but we somehow need for it all go our way. But there's still a chance (cue Dumb and Dumber references).

On Wisconsin.

That's right - you guys clinch if the Badgers win today. I hope they do and then your team decides to take it easy all week - maybe rest a starter or two...

I could see it happening, but with a #1 seed at stake, I'd say it's doubtful.

Let's go Bucky.

The other thing we need - the IU win over MSU - might be the most likely. IU is 22-7 and is red-hot right now. I could see them winning that game, especially being in Bloomington.
I have a harder time seeing OSU winning in East Lansing.

With all the talk about the B1G being the best in basketball this year, I'd say probably agree but I think that it was better last year.
Teams that are better this year:
- Michigan, MSU, Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern (marginally)
Teams that took a step back:
- Purdue, OSU, Illinois, Minnesota, PSU, Wisconsin,
and then there's Nebraska (lol).
The injury to Mbakwe no doubt affected Minny's potential. Illinois imploding (similar to football) didn't help the conference. At the end of the day, there will probably be 6 teams in the tourney, which is a bit of a disappointment considering all of the hype that happened in the non-conference season.

They are looking good as of late, minus the loss to Iowa -though Iowa is also looking pretty damn good. OSU is actually the team that is NOT looking good and peaking at the right time; and the announcers for the Ohio-Wisconsin game were still saying they're playing for a 1 seed (though highly doubtful now). Michigan, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa even, and of course Sparty are some teams looking good (of course Ohio is still a very good team) heading into March. We'll have to wait and see, obviously, but the Big Ten has a good chance to represent itself very well in the NCAA Tournament if these teams keep playing well.

This argument is incredibly awesome to look at when you switch back and forth from the App to the browser.

My guess is a troll's comments were caved and thus it looks like the replies were to you. OMG's post refers to the fact that caved posts still appear on the mobile apps but not on the website, which makes it rather confusing in these situations.
Again, not you.

I really feel State is a sight favorite at Indiana, and a pretty solid favorite at home v. Ohio. But we have a shot, so it's fun!

They go on a nice 2 game streak of great upsets and go into Bloomington and lose to the tire-fire known as the Illinois Fighting Illini. I thought they could make a run for a bubble team (though it was a bit of a dream, anyway).

Iowa, much like many teams, is a much different squad on the road. They seem to feed on their home crowd more than anyone else in the B1G. They're an improved team for sure, but not NCAA-caliber.

Something about this year, in the beginning and middle anyway, had teams struggling AWAY from home but looking like world-beaters at home. Over the past couple weeks, though, we've seen teams go out and get some nice victories on the road (Michigan @ Purdue and NW, today Wisconisin in Columbus, OSU @ Wisconsin early February Sparty in Columbus). Maybe it was the teams just getting used to playing on the road and it took a few weeks into Big Ten play to adapt.
But yea, Iowa. At home they look like a Tourney-worthy team. Away, they look like one would think Iowa should look like (over the past few years). I honestly didn't think they'd get in the NCAA, but the streak they could have put together would have been impressive and the committee would have been forced to at least look at them.
