I'd say we're pretty set on fullbacks for awhile.

According to @BrianDohnScout, #Michigan just offered Wyomissing (Pa.) High OLB Alex Anzalone

He has a pretty awesome list of offers including Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, and South Carolina.
Edit: Film! Looks like he has good instincts, though I can't speak for the level of competition. He shows some good speed on offense as well.February 20th, 2012 at 11:39 AM ^

That's the same area that yielded Chad Henne. This could be interesting.

I'd have to guess we'll only take one elite-type player at this position in 2013. Especially with all the other needs we have. But, this Anzalone kid sounds pretty darn good.

I think it's not just about taking an elite guy, but a guy who can step in and play the SAM position. All of the guys from the last class seem more suited for the MIKE and WILL positions. That's why someone like Levenberry is going to be such a priority. I'm not sure what position Anzalone is being recruited for, but it looked like he could cover decently, and his RB highlights show some good speed. I could see us taking two LBs, but that's the limit.
Tremendous said he was chatting with him, so we should get an update soon.

Obviously Hoke knows more than all of us, but does it make sense to offer a 3 star undersized defensive lineman from Cali?
After this past weekend Hoke should be very selective and shoot for the stars

Here's a piece from a local paper on the struggles he's had to overcome. Seems to have a great attitude and head on his shoulders -- someone that I could see the M student body really cheering for! http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20120217/ARTICLES/120219546/1010/sports?p=all&tc=pgall
