OT: Controversial tweet by the Lions Aaron Berry
This is why letting players on Twitter after a game is a bad idea. Clearly frustrated, he said something that he will never live down in this city.

When the Lions commit multiple felonious assaults on average, non-football-playing people, and break the neck of one of those people, and their coach laughs it off, let me know. Til then I think there's quite a difference between Sparty and the Lions.

I fixed it for you: "This is why letting players on Twitter after a game is a great idea" - visceral reaction.

He works for the fans believe it or not. We buy the tickets and if he is back I will not be. F his poor play and baby attitude. When people slam me I answer back, but usually to try to educate or correct my weaknesses. His twitter name should be fined by the NFL for conduct unbecoming to the NFL.

was the difference between a SUPERBOWL team and one on the verge...the Saints play exceptionally well at home and they have a lot of key veterans who have been there, done that...they are healthy, they came out the second half and adjusted well...keep in perspective....this lions organization set their own record...0-16 just a few short years ago..really they were in this game until the second half..and even then they were striding up and down the field...Stanton made some incredible throws and as stated, if the DBs would have made some EASY picks...different game...they did good and if they leave the Superdome HUNGRY who knows what next year will be.

I hope you are right but I don't think they are on the verge. Every year about 5 or 6 teams make the playoffs and then fail to make the playoffs the next year. I see the Lions as one of the teams that will not make the playoffs next year. If they do something significant to upgrade the defense (like find their own Mattison), then maybe they can challenge for a superbowl in the next few years.
Also, i think you mean Stafford and not Stanton.

Lose big, lose close, win close, win big. We're right on track.

you want some hate tweets? You suck cuz you cant catch a ball. Plus you degrade people in Detroit cuz of a few bad tweets that you really deserve. You a fucking garbage and an embarrassment to Detroit

Why is his twitter handle Lockdown717? The only thing he locked down was watching WRs run by him all night long.

Gunther is a very good DC at this point. Smith didn't even run to the ball after he got burned deep. The team needs to get some attitude adjustments and a DC who can coach the guys to get off the field.

He's free to say what he wants - he just needs to understand that when you give up a record number of yards in your first playoff game, you are going to hear about it. He's a big boy, and he already apologized. Life will go on. And I hate to say it, but as a Detroit-ish native (RO and Ferndale), not really bothered by the comments.
