love Okl? Do they factor in score differential?
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
They do, and they don't.
That said, a three touchdown loss is probably worth 6-8ish spots to the human polls. That's enough to drop them below Michigan. A close loss doesn't matter
Also, Ok State just scored again. 33-3 Ok State.

Only 24-3 Okie State about to kick a field goal.

the badgers band has shown more fight than their defense.

Hopefully Clemson can hang on or win a close one. Ok State was 5 in the human polls and now is sitting as the only real option other than "Field Goal Fest 2: Where Offense Goes to Die". A bump to 2/3 in both polls and a computer bump from beating a 9 win team while Bama sits at home may just be enough to stop me from hating college football.

No bowl is picking 10-2 Va Tech (with no real wins) over 10-2 Michigan (with a bajillion fans).
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
I think they definitely could. People seem to be ignoring this though.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
There is also the very real potential for Clemson to jump us and VaTech to stay ahead of us, which would be horrible.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:30 PM ^
Clemson losing is better for our bowl scenario, but a big enough beat down on VaTech makes them a less attractive option. So, if Clemson wins, win big please.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:46 PM ^
I don't know. Now we're talking about two 9-3 teams jumping a 10-2 Michigan? Maybe Baylor because the computers love the Big12, but in the ACC as well?
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:17 PM ^
Does anyone think this toss is unfair?
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
Why do they have Katie throwing into the Dr Pepper 10 can? It's not for women!
But she wins anyway
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:19 PM ^
is rigged.
Ed: Nevermind, the girl won.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:22 PM ^
I think everyone watching that was thinking the same thing.

<br>We stand corrected.

OU now down 31. This is VERY good for the michigans.

He just lost his man card. Lost to a girl.

Wow, Oklahoma State has forced 40 turnovers this season.

35 to 3...if it turn into a 45 + to 20 win would OU actually remain ahead us in the BCS. I know OSU is number 3 but OU has fallen off the cliff.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:23 PM ^
Huh? There's no way. Even a moderate loss would drop OU behind us.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:30 PM ^
But if a 3 loss Baylor team may jump us with a win over a not so good Texas team why would OU not stay above us losing to the number 3 team? The stupid BCS computers thinks the big 12 conference is great. I don't understand!!!! LSU would destroy OSU. Alabama vs LSU would be a closer game! Tells you what I think about the leftovers of the big 12 conference!

At this point, I think it's not a question of whether or not Michigan gets a BCS game. It's whether or not Ok State jumps 'Bama and we play in the Fiesta or the Sugar.

New Orleans is better on its own, but I'll take Stanford in AZ over TCU in NOLA.
Also I can drive to that one, which is nice. Bring on the Farm!
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:27 PM ^
Let's get to the Fiesta and play a real Stanford team.

Holy shit a TFL
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
smh. A Sparty friend of mine just chewed me out for cheering for Wisconsin to win this game. Apparently, I don't know a thing about football since I am cheering for a team other than my own for an outcome. How other teams play has absolutely no effect on my favorite team or no advantages. Guess they still have a bit to learn about major college football.

Two offensive plays in a row I saw Oklahoma ballcarriers lower their helmets and ram them into the helmet of an Okie State defender. Does the NCAA not give a crap about helmet-to-helmet hits?
