The Fox coverage of the Pac 12 game is absolutely atrocious. Even the halftime is pathetic. This same circus is then coming to the B1G championship game tomorrow.
And this is what they were going to trivialize the Michigan - Ohio State game for? The theory was that the only way Michigan and Ohio State would ever play for the Rose Bowl again was to have them play for it in the B1G championship game (which would also coincidentally get big ratings and generate lots of $$$).
A Michigan - Ohio State game in Indianapolis in a soulless NFL dome, announced by Fox, and sharing the stage with the guy who wins $100,000 for throwing plastic footballs through a giant Dr. Pepper can is no Michigan - Ohio State game.
Much better to have us in the same division and have to fight it out in the last game of the year to advance to the B1G championship. Winner moves on, loser licks his wounds. Every year.
This schlock-fest we are watching now is no substitute in any way, shape, or form.

about the Dr. Pepper guy. He was all excited after he won (understandably for winning 100k) but just looked like an uber douche for beating a girl. I think the crowd even boo'd him.

Nice angles and tackling there.
December 2nd, 2011 at 10:43 PM ^
Yeah, when you see three or four missed tackles on a single play...yeesh! Oregon's defense isn't much better.

All I can think of when I hear Gus Johnson is that Buffalo Wild Wings commercial. "With the SEEEEEMMM"
For your enjoyment:

fire Gerg before it's too late!

Fox is atrocious for college football. They shouldn't even have it n their network. I'm so glad that they don't have the BCS anymore. In a perfect world it would be on ABC.

He seems like a good dude. Am I wrong? I hope so, especially if he goes to OSU.

I'm laughing at the announcers when they talk.
December 2nd, 2011 at 10:49 PM ^
Every time someone gets a 10 yard run the announcers get excited like someone just completed a hail mary

was canned. Dude's team is terrible.

You don't have your big fullback in when you need a yard??? The guy who they can't stop???
A Neuheisel-led o vs Gerg-led d...purgatory?

Oregon is the epitome of the spread offense. They are the role model that everyone wants to emulate.
This is bizarre, but our current offense under Borges is in that same league. Who knew?

It still makes me lol that when you type "rick neu" into google "rick neuheisel hot seat" pops up.

UCLA engineering a 15 play 7 minute drive with 5 minutes left on the clock.

the Luke Fickell clock management award at the end of the game.

that was an insane catch

It'll be interesting to see how many points Oregon will be able to score against Wisconsin or the Spartans.
December 2nd, 2011 at 11:50 PM ^
Is that dude making an O or a snatch?
December 2nd, 2011 at 11:53 PM ^
USC would have wiped the floor with Oregon in the rematch. Damn Reggie Bush for screwing up again.
December 2nd, 2011 at 11:57 PM ^
Some people on this Board lost some money. All the talk this week was this was an easy line for Oregon. Even playing a 7 point teaser made this one a loser.

will have some trouble with Wisconsin's power game. They are fast but so much smaller, at times UCLA was running very well on them. Of course Bielema could like last year suddenly have a Christmas revelation that they are in fact a passing team.
I won't speculate on Sparty.

Some GA students made this awful rap song for the SEC Title Game. Definitely worth a watch. The first kid looks like Darren Helm.
