UTL jerseys winning ESPN poll
The ESPN B1G blog has a poll up asking which alternate jerseys have been the best so far this year. UM's UTL jerseys are currently winning the poll, which is surprising based on how many people here hated them, and the fact that the blog over there seems to be dominated by OSU and NEB fans. They definitely grew on me, and they must have grown on a lot of other people as well.
Worst jerseys? OSU vs Wisky. Close second is our away jerseys vs MSU.

Winning the Big East?
I mean, someone's got to, right?

I think it's like losing the Big East in a Greg Robinson at Syracuse kind of way.

Too soon.

Unfortunately. Wish they had a "none of the above; they're all hideous" option. I actually didn't mind the UTL jerseys, but that was when I thought it was a one time deal. I can't bring myself to vote for it because I don't want to enable/condone DB in thinking the fans want MOAR BUMBLEBEE.

I think our away jersyes seem much more terrible in hindsight. Had we a game-winning, 80 yard touchdown drive in the last 30 seconds against Sparty I think the whites would seem at least tolerable.

Worst. Jerseys. EVER!

what OSU was wearing against Wiscy last Saturday?
At least Maryland's jersey was an interesting application of their State flag. OSU you looked like they were dressed in the fabric remnants after someone else's real jerseys were cut.

While I would hate for Michigan to do anything similar, I thought those Maryland jerseys were awesome.

I'm with you especially the helmets w/ the split thing going on.

how many times have you talked about md before this year? The jerseys have clearly been good for md despite being terrible on the field.

Well Nebraska can't vote for their own since they don't have an alternate and OSU has too many to choose from so they end up cancelling each other out.
Either way I still like the jerseys and wouldn't mind seeing them again in the future as long as they choose to do so sparingly.

I personally would like to see them retired. They were cool, but that was a special occasion which had a very special outcome. I think they ran their course and should be remembered as the jerseys UM wore during their first night game ever, not the jerseys they wear every couple of years for big games.

This right here. It was nice to mix it up for one game, even though I hated the actual jerseys. The away jerseys at Michigan State were just a disaster, whether we won or not. They made Michigan State look like a Michelangelo piece.

If that is the esthetic you're going for, I'm glad our uniforms didn't remind you of this:

an 'A'. Now pull my finger.

to distinguish the players since there was just a big M on the front and a small number. I had high up seats too for UTL so it made it even more difficult. For that reason I didn't like the jerseys.

I know the #16 UTL jersey's won't be re-released until the end of January but I found a size small and medium on amazon.com. Nice christmas present for someone.

...a good start

As much as I dislike the Adidas Bumblebee look, I can't bring myself to vote for any of the others. South Florida doesn't even play in the Big Ten anyway!

the underarmour of the white ones better.
but i have to admit during the game those blue jerseys looked sharp.

I took my wife to the Purdue game and she asked if Michigan's jerseys (solid blue with maize pants) were throwbacks. It made me smile.

merely disgusting with utter toxic crap, merely disgusting always wins.

All-whites aren't bad but lose the UTL shoulder stripes.and add 1997-style stripes on the sleeves.
I think we will see some 1997 elements incorporated into an upcoming uniform with Nebraska, within the next 3 years. The storyline is epic and will sell new Michigan jerseys in Ohio and many other states.
