OH QB Austin Appleby who camped at Michigan hoping for an offer has committed to Purdue.

Of course this means that Michigan will offer him late in the process and switch him by signing day.
Another QB off the board (even though he didn't have an offer). Interesting to see how everything will play out moving forward.
Personally, I wanna see us work at the top 3 (Kiel, Mauk, and Fuller) and if we don't get any of them, then forget about a QB. I know that probably won't happen, but still.
Breaking my post cherry here! HA!
I think that qb is not a big issue at all for this class. Use that scholarship on something else like an extra DT. With the current qbs on the roster, Bellomy this year and Morris in 13, I would wait for to fill that QB spot until the end of all the offers, maybe not at all for 2012. Unless it is an offer you just can not refuse like kiel.
Seems pretty harsh for someone posting their opinion. I thought that is what these forums were for. Maybe you are just that "experienced" and know more than most.
We might if Morris ever gets injured and misses a few games.
Hold off on a qb commit until December or January, see who is out there that really wants to be at um, and if we have schollies available, ok, if not preferred walk on route is nothing to sneeze at.
The only recruit left I currently have spreadsheet numbers on is Kiehl and I have him picking us over OK, MO, and AL since those were the schools listed at the time of the analysis. Haven't had time to update things or run analysis on any of the new(er) names.
I never ran one for Maulk, but I said earlier on the board that I think we will get him and was told repeatedly that he's all but a lock for ND.
I don't think we will get both.
