OT: RIP Ryan Dunn
Holy shit.
Damn, he was awesome on Viva La Bam.
Wow that's shocking. Very sad. I always thought he was pretty funny. Even without putting himself through physical torture.
This is so sad. He was always one of my favorite guys on Jackass.
Worse then this car accident?
too soon....?
just saw him on that wretched game show minute to win it. horrible. RIP
Crazy,
Wow, thoughts and prayers to his friends and family. He was always my favorite as well. Just watchted an episode of "Minute to Win it" with him and Steve-O it last week. Always seemed like a really cool guy.
Loved Dunn on Jackass, Viva la Bam and I even remember him having a pilot for his own show entitled "Homewrecker" where he would help contestants play pranks on friends and then demonstrate practical jokes to viewers.
RIP
That's obviously just Zach Galifianakis.
They do appear to look alike with the beards, but that is definitely Ryan Dunn
Yeah, I wasn't serious. But the beard and the grumpy face make it look like Galifianakis in that picture.
They said this was posted on twitter 2 hours before the crash but was taken down. Did not think I was going to see it. Was watching Ryan Dunn youtube videos. One were Ryan and Bam got pulled over speeding and talking about how they want to make it there alive was weird to watch. RIP. Never going to be the same without him.
When you see this stuff it kind of makes you wish you could go back in time to where he was and be like "Stop, I know your future!" and than slap the beer away from him and take his keys
This really fucking sucks. I grew watching those guys, and imitating some of the shit they did. A sad day today.
If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
still in front of him.
Looks like he was probably going a reasonable speed...
Wow, this is hard to believe. I just watched Jackass 3.5 the other night on MTV. Dunn was one of my favorite guys to watch on there. Too sad to hear this. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
watched Jackass 3 this past weekend, this is so sad Ryan Dunn was by far my favorite guy from the CKY crew... Whats even creepier I was just talking to my cube mate about Jackass 3 and Viva La Bam to come on here to see this thread...
RIP - Ryan Dunn
Condolences to his friends, family, but I have little to no sympathy for drunk drivers, especially those who kill their passengers right along with themselves.
You should save them for now.
What assumptions? Reports are that he was the driver, and he posted a picture to the internet of himself drinking just shortly before. They said he was going over 110 mph on the freeway. I guess I'm assuming the reports are true but if we went down any other road, I would say he's not actually dead.
It's sad, but I don't have sympathy. This isn't even a sports guy, I dunno what it's doing on MGoBlog.
You are correct. In the last hour or so, there have been updates that he was the driver; Deadspin has the police report. However, some people were speculating before that info was released.
doesnt mean "above the legal limit". Is it entirely possible that some adult beverages are what led to driving down a dark road at 100mph at 3 am? Yes. Is it also likely that this was not the first and/or only adult beverage he had that evening? Sure. Do you know that? Or is that your assumption based on less than all the facts? Were you there keeping track of the number of drinks imbibed? Doubtful
As I get older it amazes me how many people "know" things who really have no clue. If you want to speculate, call a stockbroker.
Here's what I know. People are dead. Families and friends are left behind to pick up the pieces. If anything, our hearts should be going out to them.
It doesnt matter how much he had to drink. Drunk driving is certainly a stupid decision but so is driving 110 mph down the highway. Either way Dunn made a very bad, and very stupid decision.
All I was suggesting is that people should temporize their judgments due to the fact that they almost certainly do not have enough information be be offering such damning criticism. (in fairness, that is kind of hypocritical of me, because I am assuming they do not have the facts)
If you want to say driving 110 MPH on a country road is a bad idea, I dont think you'll find many who will argue. I know I won't
Yeah. You're making assumptions. While they may be proven to be true, making such assumptions right now is inappropriate. Why not let the facts come out before mounting your high horse?
Damn, this is horrible. I just watched Jackass 3.5 the other night on tv as well. He was hilarious, and definitely one of my favorites too. Loved Jackass, and Viva La Bam. I wonder when people are going to stop drinking and driving.
R.I.P. Ryan Dunn
What a talented invidual, with so much in front of him. How many of us are simply fortunate to have never had something this catastrophic happen in our personal lives. I'm so sorry for the loved ones he left behind.
One thing I'm curious about: In a tragedy like this, is a blood draw done to conduct analysis on the estimated BAC at the time of the accident? As said above, it is inappropriate to make assumptions. But I'm wondering to what degree BAC contributed to impaired judgement. The press release indicated that car speed may have been partially a factor in the accident.
They usually will draw blood and/or extract ocular fluid (from the eyes) to do the analysis. I've been an attorney in cases where this was an issue- which is more accurate for determining the BAC at the time of death, etc. Regardless, I imagine they did something of the sort. We don't know if Dunn was actually driving, though.
So sad. I liked Ryan Dunn. Unfortunate that he's gone so young. RIP.
Judging by the pictures of his car, there might not be anything left to test. I hope they were killed on impact. That would be a very painful death to be pinned in that car and burned alive. RIP buddy.
He tried it at home.
He was a funny guy, but its hard to feel any sympathy when he made such a stupid decision. Even if he was not drunk, driving 110 is not safe and should never be done. He was 35 not 15.
Sad to see someone pass this young. Hopefully the drunk driving rumors aren't true, but it doesn't seem that way. I always thought if any of them were to die it'd be doing a stunt. Still very sad.
(takes off glasses)... if he wasn't such a jackass.
Whooooo are you? Who, who? Who, who?
a very tragic mistake. always made me laugh. very very sad. RIP man.
This is what his car looked like, that is horrific, it was a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3, doesent look like anything anymore
Trolls...
You were a funny man. It's ashamed to see a life end so young.
That someone from Jackass hasn't died before this? I mean, it's like the Crocodile Hunter...it's sad, but you continue to do stupid things and take unnecessary risks (which at minimum this seems to be), it's not tragic when it bites you in the ass. Only if you take others with you.
