True. Shea is very accurate throwing on the run and it drives me crazy when play calls called are for him to sit in the pocket for 4-5seconds waiting for the play to develop while all year the oline has been shaky & Rb’s have whiffed in pass pro. No wonder Shea has no confidence this year. At the very least, all plays designed to change Shea’s trajectory in the pocket so the dline won’t key in on where he sets to throw every play. Whenever teams like OU have shaky oline performances they always change the qb trajectory and get him out of the pocket and OU is very good at this hence the success their offense puts up every year. It’s like our coaches no longer coach with common sense. Idk .. sorry had to vent there. I just hope for the sake of the program that we don’t get pummeled in happy predator valley. We’ve been disappointed enough, too many have taken shots at Michigan, so please let it be at least a closer game than expected?
On the transfer subject- does anyone tend to believe Aubrey Solomon would’ve stayed if he knew Mattison was leaving? The fact that There was a rift between Solomon and Mattison.. makes you wonder. I thought he would have a break out year 2019. I hope it works out for Aubrey Solomon and Michigan doesn’t field anything negative in his departure.
I’m sure we will mix in a 3-4, 3-3-5 schemes having a stud Safety in Dax and Hinton will help the DL as a ready to play Freshman. I see exotic blitzes out of the 3 down linemen schemes and what seems to be one of the best guaranteed to get home/pressure at least- delayed blitz. I just hope Brown installs an aggressive cover2 so the corners can be aggressive on slants/short routes with over top Safety help Deep. The few times we ran zone we got torched covering grass while wr’s got wide open (seems like we NEVER practice Zone concepts looking at how our team plays zone).
Even Saban was as stubborn as Harbaugh when it comes to running a FB and TE formation that’s been around since football was invented. Saban finally adjusted the offense to run EVERYTHING and look, his offense is unstoppable
Actually, the evidence was Carr signing transfer papers for 70% of the team (including Boren to go transfer to OsU) & RR lost first string and second even before having his first team meeting. I loved Carr until he pulled some shady stuff causing a lot of turmoil within the program
Jmeister- I completely agree. No matter how much I want to post a concrete opinion or facts even slightly unbiased, I don’t post due to all the negative arguments/negging. I only post if I’m rooting for our team during an open game thread. Facts mixed with honest opinion seems to be unwanted at times so why bother right?
Going forward to the offseason and next year.. I hope there’s a real competition at the Qb position and Dylan/rest of the Qb’s get a fair shake at starting Qb. The best players play and if it also means adjusting to 3wide every snap keeping DpJ, Black, & Collins on the field at all times I’m all for it.
I’m trying to stay positive but it’s hard. Being a true fan of Michigan is more frustrating to watch than ever before. Coaches call the game not to lose rather than call plays to our strengths and play our game. I can’t defend seeing the end of the first half being called like that. It was pathetic and I can’t see through the negative fog at the moment

We haven’t shown up playing our best yet and we are still in this game. May Browns second half adjustments show up like it has all season

Guess I must’ve missed something about Tru this week but I’d appreciate it if any of my fellow Maize n Blue Bruhz/Sis’ have any information regarding Tru. Currently 21-7 Mmeeechigan! Yeah I agree that we are Michigan so we shouldn’t stoop down to that level MSU lives on BUT if you think from Bush’ point of view- Marshall & Hill are your brothers/family. I’m sure Bush would’ve responded differently if it was verbal but this was a Physical Altercation & cheap shots were made. When you can’t protect your own/retaliate face to face, you look for the next best thing to get even. I’m glad Bush stood up for his brothers & didn’t take shiza from anyone. Protect your own & Go Blue!
