Have to think Criswell gone, which is a big loss. Franklin too. I don't know if Nwongu has enough of a position to make the jump, losing this season hurts him. Next year's team could be very talented. This should help MI more than the rest of the B1G, with the way Bakich recruits jucos.
As someone unfamiliar with hockey recruiting, how does that class compare nationally? Ranked in the top 10? Whats a good football recruiting comparison?
Would love to see them vs Clemson or Bama in the playoff. Really see what they've got and how high is that ceiling, or were they fortunate to play 2 QBs who were a little banged up, plus some poor coaching decisions by Janklin and Turtle.
How are we feeling about this team/season? Obviously National Champ games are always tough to come by/predict, but man this just feels like a really good JB Michigan team. Deep, versatile, athletic, the D is going to be legit, and if their shooting comes along, could win B1G and make a run. Thoughts?
Overall, pretty encouraging as this is probably the best D that Michigan will face the rest of this season (post-season pending), they were a couple of near-misses away from blowing it open, and it feels like Shea hasn't played his best game yet. Bye week at a perfect time. Put it together vs. PSU and OSU and both games could be fun to watch, as neither D is as tough as States. Engage Rudddddock-Post-Bye-Jump and here comes one!

Agreed. I don't look to him for any breaking news, but he definitely is not going to give you any homer-reporting and his feedback tends to be honest and straight forward. Tilted towards the negative on the whole, but at least not just another fluff article.
Levert, Burke, Sauce Castillo, Hardaway, Duncan... lotta guys on rosters out there who were not 5 stars, but a few years of JB turned them into legit pros. Pretty cool to see. I'm amazed more 4-5 star recruits don't come because of it, regardless of Lack of Bag Man situation.
I feel like we got the old Harbs back. The guy we had in 2015 that gave 0 shits about being PC or playing nice and instead came to win. And, funny enough, it looks like Urbz took on some on that "don't rock the boat" mantra. Dude looks scared on the sidelines. Weird to see.

But the comment still stands. Like I said, I love Ann Arbor. Visit every summer. But that place sucks for a good 6 months every year. Cold and snow from November till mid April.
Born and raised in AA. Now live just outside Columbia. And I don't think it's fair to say it's a dump compared to AA, which isn't exactly an exotic paradise. In Columbia, it's warm and sunny all year, hour and a half from the beach, and I wouldn't blame the kid for not wanting to freeze 300 days a year. Love me some AA and Go Blue forever, just thought that wasn't a good comparison
We have the luxury of all these recruiting services to tell us who is supposedly good or great. How about the coaches? Do they really watch film on all these 1000s of potential recruits out there? Rely on HS coaches they have relationships with? Utilize rankings? Camps? Magic khakis?
I had field passes for the game. Stood in the end zone next to Rich Eisen for the entire thing. Even snuck in and held the banner with the wrestling team when the team rand out of the tunnel. I forgot to bring a coat and it got pretty cold when the sun went down. We were getting out as kicked and I couldn't take anymore shit talking from the State Danes behind us so I left. They score as I was walking to my car. Went to a local restaurant to watch the game and saw Braylon-fest ensue in the very end zone I had left. Almost coulda caught him in my lap if I had stayed...

I'd go to the ACC. Jump in the Coastal division at UNC. Win 8-9 games a year easy.
