I urge President Obama to nominate to the Supreme Court the wise and competent, Judge Extraordinaire Judith Sheindlin.

It's a done deal. McConnell is physically unable to say no to such a competent legal mind.
I am sure those senators from the ess eee see and aaa see see states will still try to sadly block it.

and purposes
It was a joke, bro.
I wanted to work in a joke here using the word "misunderestimated" but couldn't figure out how to make it work. I would still like the fake internet points, please.

You're alright with "irregardlessly"?
One post in and we're already political... /s
Harbaugh would easily beat any of the blue/red 2016 presidential candidates.

I'd say there's a chance that Harbaugh wins Oakland county.
When was the last time a candidate won without Ohio
And we've veered into politics.
Sorry, Bando, but jokes about Harbaugh and the states he can carry are not "politics." It's just good ole' fun.
That one took me a second... I had the wrong Brady in my head.
Or this?
I hear she can really lay the wo<<REDACTED>>
liven up oral arguments.

On an unrelated note: does the Supreme Court have jurisdiction to outlaw whiners? Asking for a friend...

This is the funniest thing Ive seen on the internet since maybe ever. +1
the 60+ downvotes I received at 1:23 pm yesterday.
Obviously Harbaugh was joking, but just so you know, she does not have legit credentials.
although, in practice, being a respected judge/scholar is a defacto requirement of the political selection process.
I'm a banker and I could be appointed to the Supreme Court. Also Speaker of the House, IIRC.
Our system of government has some interesting quirks.
to start, she went to a law school outside the top 100. Then, per wikipedia, she worked for a "cosmetics firm" (whatever the hell that is), followed by stints as a family law prosecutor and then a state criminal and family court judge. Then, of course, she's been an arbitrator on TV for many years, doing work entirely unrelated to law as a Supreme Court Justice practices it.
That's a fine career, but no finer than many tens of thousands of attorneys throughout the country, none of whom are even remotely qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice.
Also, she's not more eloquent than Clarence, who is much, much smarter than he's given credit for (regardless of whether you agree with him).
He hasn't spoken a word in over 10 years.
