WAY OT: Anyone up for some online multiplayer Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3?

I know I'm going to get some heat for this, but I'm wondering if any of you are members or would like to join a multiplayer group in either Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3 (PS3).  Maybe we could create an MGoGroup?  I don't even know how to set one up (maybe someone will invite me to join an existing group??) but I ask because I'm thinking it would be much more enjoyable getting killed every 10 seconds if I was a member of a fun group instead of playing with randoms.  Any thoughts?

WIth an infant at home, I find myself awake for extended periods in the middle of the night.  I have been passing the time by playing some first-person shooter games (to release some stress - you parents with infants know what I mean).  But I apparently suck compared to all the other online gamers and could use some comraderie to enhance my multiplayer experience.  I get absolutely destroyed in Modern Warfare 3.

Is multiplayer on my PS3 only with other PS3 players?

Yeah, unfortunately, can't play across platforms. That would be great if that was possible, though. BF3 has been my game of choice lately, so I'd be happy to play if you want. PSN is flick0416. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to play during the week, but I'm on most Friday/Saturday nights, and the odd weeknight here and there.

Also, due to my sporadic playing times, I'm not that great either. I'm happy when my K:D ratio is better than 1:1.

I'm into BF3 right now myself, if only because I don't get killed as often.  I made it through the campaign on hardcore level but can't stay alive online for more than a few minutes . . .

I'll definitely check for you on the weekends.  Unfortunately for me, my nights are all the same, weekday or weekend.

until said little one is 11 and head-to-head on X-Box NHL, when the little one is more interested in the post-goal celebration than anything else ("WOOOOHOOOOO, I'm riding my stick like a pony!") and you find yourself down 11 to 3.

With 2 minutes gone in the 2nd period.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*k you!

hehe.  I remember playing Quake in the UGLI, and having people shoot daggers at me taking up the computer.

Yeah, I'm down tonight. ANIMALMOTHER74, hit me up. Make sure you message me that your from the board. Once we play we start a group if we know they are on the board and are on our friends list. Simple invite.

We intend to do the same as well.  Hopefully we don't end up like friends of ours who had a duaghter, decided to have one more, and ended up with triplets.  The guy's almost completely bald and he had a full head of hair not a year ago.

Not a huge fan of multiplayer but survival is a blast. My buddy got up to wave 57 on Seatown, though my personal best of 40. Unfortunately on 360 so this doesn't help you at all.

Here we go...  I've got BF3 for both PC and 360, and IMO its pretty clear the console version doesn't hold a candle to 64 player gaming on the computer.  But why should it?  It was expressly designed to take advantage of the PC's greater capabilities, which I feel is how games these days should be created, not the inverse.  Designers are handcuffing themselves when their target platform is such a limited machine.

At all, but I am ready for May 15th and Diablo III to release.  Played the Beta release all weekend.  I definitely have my critiques of the game and the changes the franchise has made of the Diablo Series.  But in the end, it's Diablo, and I'm stoked and have been waiting to play the 3rd installment.  Who's with me?!
