I'm not sure why you're bringing hockey into this discussion, but I bet you'll both

1) trip over the boards as you try to get on the ice;

and 2) Once on the ice, you'll fall flat on your face because you not only don't play hockey, but also can't skate.

Please, WD---leave the hockey jersies for Brian.

I'm curious...how much money will all you spend on this new gear now that it made by Nike and not Adidas? I'd say I'm in the $50-100 range (i.e. one item). Anything over that and I'd feel like I'd been taken to the cleaners. But then again I'm an unemployed manchild.

I'll buy a Jumpman jersey pretty much as soon as I can, I'll get the football and basketball student shirts with my tickets. Other than that its not like I had that much Adidas gear in the first place, I will probably continue mostly buying the MDen's Champion and unbranded stuff.

I know stuff is already being sold at a decent discount, but I'm hoping to maybe get something a little more expensive than I'd normally plunk down for (maybe a jacket) when I visit the Big House for the Chelsea-Real Madrid match.

Anyway...welcome, Nike!

I hope Nike brings back the maize they used from 1995-2006. I was at every home game this past year as well as the srping game and the maize is way too dark. Looks odd juxtaposed agianst the maize on the field and the maize the marching band wears. Adidas tried to get away from the highlighter yellow and overcompensated by going too dark. Looked very WVU ish to me. Don't let me down Nike!

I respectfully disagree. Michigan has never worn a shade of maize that dark. Adidas basically invented the color Michigan wore last year because Nike owns a patent the specific shade of maize Michigan wore from 1995-2006.

The jumpman is a subsidiary of nike. The football team will wear jordan brand uniforms and probably jordan cleats. Some may wear nike cleats because of limited styles (not sure how jumpman cleats are for lineman) and players have been wearing nike cleats since spring ball.
