Trey Burke playing well for Mavs on ESPN
High scoring game, but nice to see Trey (and Hardaway Jr.) having a nice showing. It’s been a long road back for Burke, hopping around the NBA, but hope he’s found a home in Dallas.
He’s #32, by the way, as all the Mavs have “Equality” as their name plate in their own languages.
Looks like Burke is gonna end the half 7/8 for 19 Points and 5/5 from 3... dude is getting loads of love from the announcing crew, as he should!
Hardaway Jr is playing just as well with 4/6 FG for 19 as well, all from 3.
Go Blue!
They missed his first 12 or so talking about other random things. But caught his last few 3's
"Do you want to get inside of the perimeter of my automobile?"
"Stranger danger."

Ahh there you are. You were posting like a normal person the last few days. Good to have your regular sputtering nonsense back.
Watching
Just watched him hit three straight threes
Great to see both Burke and Hardaway tear it up! I’d love to see Burke do well in the pros. He’s been hit and miss. Hard away on the other hand looks to be a stud for the Mavs. He may be their #3 on the team.
Damn! Burke has 19 at the half!!! I really hope Dallas figures out a way to use him. I’d become a fan of the Mavs if I could see Hardaway and Burke play together!
38 points combined right Now
First Half Stats:
Burke: 19 points, 7/8 (5/5 from 3), 3 assists.
Hardaway: 19 points, 4/6 (all from 3), 3 assists.
It’s amazing watching them play together again.
1 steal for Burke too
You could say they went....ham
He and Hardaway have combined for 38 points in the half on 9-11 three point shooting in like 34 minutes of play.
Crazy watching them in the same backcourt again (I know they did it in NYC as well).
Burke is in the perfect system for his game (Golden State and Houston would also be good fits).
Love watching these guys. I'm Fab 5 til I die, but that 2013 team is not far behind. I LOVED that group. So much fun to watch, had the freshman mixed in with Burke, Hardaway and J-Mo.
Shit, time to go watch the NCAA tournament games on YouTube...AGAIN (never Louisville past Spike's last 3 in the first half).
Announcers with the MICHIGAN love too!
I’m a big Doris Burke fan. If you watch a lot of the NBA, she usually does a great job
She's one of the best color analyst in any sport. Personally, I think she is THE best.
Burke all 3s!
This is the highest scoring NBA game not called the All Star Game that I have ever seen.
Burke is 7 for 7 from 3. He has 25 points in 26 minutes
he and Hardaway currently have 12 3 pointers and 49 points.
Both defenses leave a lot to be desired
I missed the game but it sounds like they were playing social distancing defense.
He is putting on a show!!! Luka who???
It’s crazy to think that Burke outplayed a guy who had a triple double, but you could argue that he did. Doncic had 28 pts, 13 rebs and 10 assists, but shot 40%, had 8 turnovers and fouled out. Burke had 31 and 6 assists against 0 turnovers. Westbrook had similar numbers as Doncic for Houston.
He just put Austin Rivers on skates...Trey is a monster tonight.
I heard that Hardaway is now shooting .400 from three for an extended period of time now. I mean...HOW?
Not sure what you mean. He’s corrected his stroke from UM, and looks to be on a tear. I hope he can carve out the #3 role on the Mavs...he’s developing the cane to do so

Aaaaaand they lost. That's what I get for showing interest in an NBA game after 2005.
What happened in 2005?
Bob Horry hits an open 3... Pistons never win another game.
Lol...they actually won the next game in that series after that
Sorry, I meant that as a joke. Was trying to make a joke that the Pistons had NEVER won another bball game after that demoralizing shot... but of course we won Game 6 and went to a few more ECFs after that. And not sure if that's what his "2005" reference was even referencing. But good point you make, as a lot of people remember the Big Shot Bob shot as happening in Game 7, not Game 5. I do think it cost us the series, as if we'd been up 3-2, we would have won Game 6 or 7. Cheers...
