Trey Burke playing well for Mavs on ESPN

High scoring game, but nice to see Trey (and Hardaway Jr.) having a nice showing. It’s been a long road back for Burke, hopping around the NBA, but hope he’s found a home in Dallas.

Great to see both Burke and Hardaway tear it up! I’d love to see Burke do well in the pros. He’s been hit and miss. Hard away on the other hand looks to be a stud for the Mavs. He may be their #3 on the team.

First Half Stats:

Burke: 19 points, 7/8 (5/5 from 3), 3 assists.

Hardaway: 19 points, 4/6 (all from 3), 3 assists.

It’s amazing watching them play together again.

Crazy watching them in the same backcourt again (I know they did it in NYC as well).

Burke is in the perfect system for his game (Golden State and Houston would also be good fits).

Love watching these guys. I'm Fab 5 til I die, but that 2013 team is not far behind. I LOVED that group. So much fun to watch, had the freshman mixed in with Burke, Hardaway and J-Mo.

Shit, time to go watch the NCAA tournament games on YouTube...AGAIN (never Louisville past Spike's last 3 in the first half).

It’s crazy to think that Burke outplayed a guy who had a triple double, but you could argue that he did. Doncic had 28 pts, 13 rebs and 10 assists, but shot 40%, had 8 turnovers and fouled out. Burke had 31 and 6 assists against 0 turnovers. Westbrook had similar numbers as Doncic for Houston.

Sorry, I meant that as a joke. Was trying to make a joke that the Pistons had NEVER won another bball game after that demoralizing shot... but of course we won Game 6 and went to a few more ECFs after that. And not sure if that's what his "2005" reference was even referencing. But good point you make, as a lot of people remember the Big Shot Bob shot as happening in Game 7, not Game 5. I do think it cost us the series, as if we'd been up 3-2, we would have won Game 6 or 7. Cheers...
