Travis Williams...Committed?
Per ESPN Travis Williams has committed to Michigan, but Rivals has nothing to say on the subject and Scout only suggests that he has made his mind, if he has committed what does everyone think about this kid?

he was quoted on both of the good sites as saying that he almost committed because the visit was so great.
ESPN has him listed as committed
They are about as reliable as the weather. This sentence from their evalution says it all
"He is smooth and fluid with aboverage speed and acceleration."
I didnt know that aboverage was a term?
That's a pretty cool term to stumble onto like that
It isn't exactly a word, but it really should be.
It is my new favorite word. Im going to try and use an aboverage amount of times and in every one of my future posts.
That's an aboverage idea.
Apparently ESPN missed the memo. This isn't "official" yet. He is technically committed, but is going to wait until after spring to make it public.
about his 40 time? I'm wondering if someone fat-fingered its entry, because the one I saw was listed in the 4.9s
Where did you see it at?

4.95, 155 lbs.
Though just to be clear, I'm not trying to start a swine flu pandemic here. I've read enough opinions from people who have seen him play in 2009 to know that he can play.
FWIW, ESPN has it as 4.61, FWIW.
ESPN has his 40 listed at 4.61. I know they are not as good of a recruiting site, but probably their 40 times are about as reliable as Scout/Rivals.
Seems like a corner not a slot and we need corners
I personally like ESPN's unique writing style, I always get pissed off about writing two words separately and often try to blend two words together as much as possible.
I'll post some quotes and questions with him in about 45 minutes to an hour.
if he had his tour (or the idea for it) planned, got his offer and then decided to swing by Ann Arbor? or did he get his offer and then decide to make the multi-campus tour?
Gtacias, looking forward to it

to make your decision, I think this guy is a backup. Maybe they really, really want to make sure he is confident in his decision.

I'm not too impressed with his play at defensive back, but it's been a pretty common theme that the coaches are asking players to be sure before they commit. I think they're trying to adjust their recruiting tactics so we don't have another rash of decommitments...
wasn't there 30-45 minutes ago when I visited the site.

but the first thing that went through my mind was "please don't be a slot receiver". I'm pretty certain I'm not aboverage when I state that either.
Yes, same guy. I posted a Diary with a mini interview.
His QB looks pretty good too...
I'm sold.
What other schools offered him?

the list of schools that offered him worries me but I like his receiving #s (15 passes for 425 yards (28.3 average) and five touchdowns)

Dear U of M coaching staff,
please stop offering kids who won't make a viable contribution to your team.

my sarcasm detector is malfunctioning, but we have no way of knowing how this guy will do. For all we know he's the next Woodson.
considering that he is a FL kid without any in-state offers (not even UCF or USF), I highly doubt it.
It's April 27th.
