If you're really a female, my name is Dick Tracy.

I hope he is not picked in the first three rounds. He's not someone I want to be at the forefront of Michigan's draft coverage, which is bound to be pretty sparse, anyway.
March 12th, 2015 at 10:30 AM ^
...at least I'm going to make that assumption.

Outside of Funchess our draft coverage will be nearly non-existant to tthe general public

DG running the 40, from twitter. Shouldn't we have electronic timing equipment?
March 12th, 2015 at 11:08 AM ^
In fact, I don't know of any pro day that uses electrically timed equipment or if it's even allowed.
Besides, hand times typically are faster than electric times; there is absolutely no benefit for a school to go to something that would make them look worse relative to other schools.

Adjustment here says add 0.16 second if the thing is hand timed.

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"
In this case, it's better to use a hand time a let people make the adjustment than it is to be electrically timed and remove all doubt.
You hear "4.5 40 hand-timed" vs "4.67 40" and even if you know you are applying an adjustment you look more favorably to the former than the latter. It's the same reason why rosters inflate weights and heights despite everyone knowing everyone else does it to some degree.
Oh, duh. Hand times faster. Good point.

Under 4.40... That sounds pretty unofficial, but who knows.

Will Trent Baalke be there? Awkward...

Anyone know how many teams sent scouts?
