eat cake, do blow and club hobos.
Post could have been interpreted a couple of ways:
Stop throwing the ball to Lloyd, Brady.
or
Stop throwing the ball to Lloyd Brady.
Either way, it eliminates the dropsies. Just tryin' to help out a fellow MGoBlogger with EA.
Now can I haz some cake?
EDIT: If the answer is still no, can you point me to the punch and pie social?

Alfonzo Dennard was a great 7th round pick for New England. He and Hightower are exactly what they needed, and 7th round is a steal.

chances are pretty high that the NE K will win NFL player of the year, right?

Argh, wasted time.

NE could have had a couple more plays and Brady could have broken his leg with that Hong Kong Phooey slide.

Titus Young is a lock to win this Man of the Year Award.

That Welker drop was exactly like the Super Bowl.

High hits are only called against Baltimore now?
January 20th, 2013 at 8:43 PM ^
It was in the chest.
January 20th, 2013 at 9:57 PM ^
Are you legally blind? Dude hit him square in the chest. The exact way a tackle should be made every single time.
EDIT: Then Pollard nails that guy in the worst head to head shot I've seen in a while to cause that fumble. Yeah, the refs were clearly in favor of the Patriots...... /s
January 20th, 2013 at 10:07 PM ^
That Patriot was a runner, so there's no "defenseless receiver" involved, and the hit was legal.
Hope that guy will be OK.
January 20th, 2013 at 10:13 PM ^
I thought any head-to-head was now illegal period?
January 20th, 2013 at 11:15 PM ^
Not necessarily. If it's incidental contact, then no penalty. If the defender led with his helmet, then it should have been, and the NFL will probably fine him. I guess I could be wrong, but it didn't strike me as a penalty at the time. If the defender isn't targeting the ball carrier's helmet, but then he lowers his helmet, what is the defender supposed to do?

But if NE doesn't find a way to generate pass pressure, it may be a long second half.
January 20th, 2013 at 8:52 PM ^
Does New England have any pass routes deeper than 6 yards downfield? I feel like I'm watching a replay of the Michigan/Iowa game this year.

Respectfully disagree. What Brady needs are playmakers at the WR position more than anything. The big difference in this game was Bolden's ability to create separation and get open for deep balls. Brady has Welker and........
They need speed on the outside. Like they used to have when they had Moss.
January 20th, 2013 at 9:47 PM ^
The problem was Talib got hurt and the Patriots need a guy like Julio Jones. If anything they need to draft a wide receiver that's a deep threat. It doesn't help that the teams best receiving option is out hurt. Yes, the defense could use some work. But that's not the main issue at all. It's injuries and the lack of a burner that lost this game for the Patriots. Gronk makes up for that lack with his size, which then helps Hernandez as well. But, when Gronk gets hurt again and again, then teams can cover Hernandez better. That leaves the Patriots less than desirable on offense because Brady can only make up for his lack of playmakers so much.
Edit: The experts agree and have the Patriots taking Tavon Austin.

Well considering they have not won a super bowl in the 8 years since they got caught cheating and still have a lot of talent some would argue the pair might be overachieving. Though you could say they are only underachieving compared to absurdly high standards they created so it goes both ways.

I still love Jim Harbaugh.
A badass coach, who used to be a badass quarterback coached by not one BUT TWO badass coaches (Bo and DITKA), has now turned a team coached by a former badass linebacker from nobodies into possibly the next badass Super Bowl champions.
I wish Harbaugh had Hoke's love for Michigan...my GAWD, the thought of him coming back to coach at AA for the next 20 years or so...just devastating. Oh, well.
