OT- It's Friday! What's in your glass?
The weekend is here, what's everybody drinking? I am sipping on a few limited Blue Moon Samplers. Not the best, but for a mass produced beer, not too bad. Currently having a Short Straw Red Ale. Interested to hear what everyone's having on the longest day of the year...
I'm golfing in a pro-am on Monday! I wish it was on golf trail somewhere! They are some nice courses. Owned by the Alabama teachers retirement fund?
Hit em' long and straight! The RTJ golf trail in Alabama is a beautiful thing and I welcome you to meet me on the course if you can ever make it down this way.
Nice! For the strength, it's a pretty robust scotch and the sherry cask helps with the finish while keeping the bite away. Looking to move on to a more peaty scotch tonight...perhaps an Ardbeg 10 or a Laphroaig 12. The night is still young.
Canada House and diet Encore
Gonna practice @ counter strike all night 8)
Bud Heavy. 'Nough said.
in Richmond last week. Tastes a little like Newcastle to my somewhat undiscerning palate. Long time since I gave much thought to these things, but it was so delicious with my meatloaf at the River City Diner there (recommended) that when I saw one on the shelf in the place where we breakfasted, I plumped for it.
Water. Stop ruining your livers and shortening your lives.
Scotch. Start testing your liver and improving your life.
...with Myer's and Coke. Stop telling my liver what to do.
"Please help me! I'm dying!"
-MaizeMN's liver
"Hi, I'm Don's liver. I want to run. Look at me running! Oh wait I just ran right off a cliff and died."
I've seen it a hundred times.
Don, I'm jealous! My liver can only talk. What secret nectar do you imbibe that allows your organs to be ambulatory?
Probably alcohol
I'm not sure why you're so butt-hurt (sp?) but, dude, seriously, have some scotch. Your liver will thank you for it and maybe, just maybe, you will not be so much of a douche.*
*This message was brought to you all in part by: Macallan Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch & mrtait82's shriveled, despicable liver.
I'm not butthurt. It was a joke. Anyone who knows my posting history knows that I am no stranger to old Rumpelstiltskin.
Fair enough, however, the ghosts of douche lingers in your posts. I feel as though you may be better than this, but it is up to you to prove me wrong.
Did you know that 1 alcoholic drink in a day adds 30 minutes to your life? Didn't think so. So I am going to keep the doctor away in a about a half an hour.
Nancy.
It was sitting on the front porch next to a 12 pk of Blue! So, my drink of choice tonight...Crown on the rocks!
Go blue!
Rocky's Revenge, it's a brown ale that my brother picked up in Lake Mills Wisconsin.
As much as I love the craft brews, always enjoy returning to my roots now and then.
Pinot Noir becouse my girly self has never been able to handle beer.
Keeping price as a consideration.
but that you're paying a premium for the name. Althought second-hand information, it came from some serious oenophiles so I put some credence behind it.
Lambic with the missus while the baby is asleep. Happy Solstice!
from CJs Brewing in Commerce Twp, MI. Growler fills are only $4.50 on Tuesdays, whether you are a mug club member or not. The beer and food are terrific, and whoever does the hiring has a good eye. Drink up me hardies, yo ho!
Ruin. Ten.
How is it?
It is everything I hoped it would be. I have two more bottles left too.
Awesome avatar by the way. Beer labels in motion?
