The reviews are a better read than this could ever be.

I'll co-sign that.  All but one review is scathing, and the other one is clearly sarcastic.

It's unfortunate that so many people haven't caught onto the fact that Sharp is simply a shock jock.  I'm sure he's aware that he has no competence or talent, but he feeds off of the reaction that he incites in the fanbases of all Michigan-based teams.  If only people would simply ignore him, he might go away.

PROTIP: It helps to stop reading the paper that gainfully employs him.

His review of Razor Sharp

"Razor Sharp" takes place in modern-day Detroit, and follows the adventures of Drew Sharp (not to be confused with Razor Sharp, which is the title of the book) who strives to overcome his undiagnosed retardation to become the 18th mentally disabled sportswriter in Michigan history. The novel is written in a first-person narrative, which I found helped me relate better to the protagonist, whose rambling and incoherent retard-speak flows so naturally you marvel at the amount of research the author must have done to reach such a level of authenticity. At one point, the dialogue becomes so frustratingly moronic that you shed tears imagining the living hell experienced by those with sub-par intelligence trying to stay afloat in an elitist society which places such a high premium on complete sentences and logic-based commentary. Bravo to the author (who for reasons unknown decided to omit his name from the book cover); you have given the 21st century it's first "Of Mice And Men"...it's first "Forrest Gump."

That has to be the best set of reviews I have seen in a long time. And the sarcastic one is EPIC.

To quote from one of the reviews

"He bricked his attempt at literary significance with a release that stands (at this writing) at #1,372,928 on the Amazon sales chart.

How bad is this?

The Drywall Finisher's Handbook" checks in at #464,899; "No More Bedwetting: How to Help your Child Stay Dry" is at #206,013; and "The War Against Toenail Fungus" resides at a comparatively lofty #74,497."

Rosenberg's bible is All the President's Men, where he plays Bernstein; Snyder is Woodward;Toney Clemons is Deep Throat;Richrod is Nixon; Gerg is Spiro Agnew; Barwis is G. Gordon Liddy; Rita is Pat Nixon but with better nacho dip; Magee is Haldeman . . . .

and  so on.

I started reading a review, and after the first sentence, I looked at the name of the reviewer and remembered that I had written it last Feburary.  Only 18 reviews were written, where it seemed like there were over a hundred reviews of Rosenberg's "book."

I loved how we managed to drive the prices down on Rosenberg's book and at least temporarily ruin his pretensions of being Mitch Albom.
