Tufele: “I was surprised that Tufele was not a little bit bigger physically, but that did not stop him from absolutely dominating during Army week. He was unstoppable in one-on-ones, a physical kid who also has tremendous speed to shoot gaps and get in the backfield. Once he adds even more size to his frame, Tufele could prove to be even more unstoppable. Ohio State, Utah, BYU and others remain involved.” – Adam Gorney, Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst

Ruiz: “The rare polished high school center, Ruiz is a natural fit for the position. He shined at this year's Under Armour All-America Game, where he displayed impressive extension and solid power. The fact that he's spent his high school career snapping the ball from the center spot is a bonus for Michigan, which could use him at both guard and center early in his time in Ann Arbor.” – Rob Cassidy, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst

Gay: “Gay was one of the most impressive players at this year's Mississippi All-Star Classic. He's added significant muscle this year and has retained the same athleticism that has always made him a special prospect. Once committed to Ole Miss, Gay will likely land at either Michigan or Mississippi State.” – Cassidy

Vilain: “Vilain will be a great pass rusher at Michigan, but at the Under Armour All-America Game he showed that he's not a one-trick pony. He played with more power than ever before and had lots of success in practices. Vilain's presence in the backfield during the game showed he will have success against elite competition.” - Friedman

I remember last year people were saying McMaffrey would be the best qb in the the country. I watched his highlights and wow. But highlights are of cut to the good stuff. I'm still super excited about him but thought he would jump peters, not sure anymore.

Most of the guys moved up which is a good sign. Mccaffrey apparently looked bad in practice, has good but not absurd stats going up against weak competition, and while he looked pretty good during the game over half his yards came on a wr screen he actually threw high and badly underthrew his one deep ball. There is a reason Stanford passed on offering him and it's because he wasn't the most physically gifted or polished qb in this class. He could end up being great but he is clearly a prospect that needs some work and to develop more physically. He isn't going to be competing for the starting job as a freshman.

I think it's for the best that McCaffrey doesn't look anywhere near physically ready to play in college. It probably makes it easier to convince him to sit behind Speight and Peters for a few more seasons.

I think as far as QB skill goes we are trending in the right direction. It started with Denard then Gardner then Rudock and now Speight. All of the QBs I just named are very much Michigan and I can see Peters and McAffrey being really good QBs with additional running backs strong enough to shoulder the offense. We have been very 1.5 dimensional as an offense. I look forward to the day we have running backs running rough shod over defenses.

To the next level.  Given that we've got a top coaching staff, I expect to see all the guys who end up signing with the good guys to develop into great college players.  Future's so bright, we gotta wear shades.
