New 2024 offer: OT Blake Frazier
Michigan offered Austin (TX) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier, a class of 2024 recruit. This may seem inconsequential unless the last name rings a bell...
...which it might, because his dad is Steve Frazier. Steve played at Michigan and started 17 games at center or guard from 1995-1999.
Up comes Frazier?
Say that in your best Howard Cosell voice. ☺️
"Hey baby, I hear the blues a-callin'
Tossed salads and scrambled eggs!"
They're calling again
One thing I like about Eleven Warriors(ducks to avoid a flying shoe) is that their recruiting classes have their own evolving pages. If/when something else comes up with Blake Frazier six months down the road, we can revisit it.
Didn't we have something like this or am I thinking about where a recruit's interest level is? This does seem like something interesting to have.
There is a diary or sticky forum post that is written by one of the MgoBlog writers and is updated once in a blue moon as far as I know. Wish we had an ongoing conversation forum to track recruits throughout the lifecycle of their recruitment.
UMHoops works in the same way, although I haven't visited 11 Warriors to see if it's exactly the same.
Yeah. The recruiting updates are why I found mgoblog back in 2012 or so. The updates are not what they once were. It's probably a combination of that and other factors that have led me to just not care about recruiting details like I once did. It's probably better for me.
Noticed that. 6'6? Would be a NICE addition up front.
This is the sort of thing that makes me begin to feel old. I also have a kid that will be class of 2024 in high school and Frazier was at Michigan when I was so we are of similar age. Certainly, I am not the oldest here - I know that - but I am starting to edge into that group ever so slightly.
LSA - Not even close! You’re still a whipper-snapper to some of us!
