Michigan Recruiting 6'7" 2018 QB
No offer yet, but Michigan is interested in 6-foot-7 freshman QB Brandon Leach of Pinckney.

The kid is a 6-7 freshman. 6-foot-7. He has three years of high school to grow. He might be 7-0 by the time he steps under center for Jim Harbaugh.
But Austin Mack released a Top 4 today
OSU, Michigan, Tennessee and Notre Dame. Deciding on Sunday but people are saying it will be the Buckeyes
Yeah, he's seemed like an OSU lock for a long time...
I picture one of Tolkein's Ents waging war against the various Goblins and Trolls in the second Fellowship of the Rings book/movie. Not mobile -- perhaps even downright slow -- but lethal.
Thanks for giving us the long and short of it...
by the time he starts for Michigan he could be 7', 300 lbs. The biggest QB to play for Michigan. A QB sneak may be a big lunge into the DLINE, knocking them back into the end-zone!
I never thought in my lifetime a kid would be good enough to garner attention from Michigan. Transplant or not.
was from Brighton. I remember while visiting family, I got to see him play High School football. He was quite the athlete. I wish he would have finished off his football career at Michigan.
Michigan had a few guys from Brighton - Drew Henson, Dave Pearson and Morgan Trent (lived in Brighton, played there his freshman year before transferring to Orchard Lake St. Mary, I believe). But this would be the first kid from Pinckney.
Considering Pinckney has traditionally been a D2-D3 type program, in terms of where their best players could play collegiately. This is a major surprise. Especially considering the success or lack thereof in the last decade or so. Only 1 playoff appearance.
i can think of was Mark Messner when he played for Hartland before transferring to one of the suburban High School. When I lived in Livingston County it was just a rural farming county of 50,000. But now most of it has turned into the far burbs of metro Detroit!
I think Wyatt Shallman also grew up in Hartland.
Shallman and Messner also both played for CC.
Clint Copenhaver was from Brighton, too.
Board-7'0" White guy story
MGoCommenters- HE CAN PLAY C FOR BEILEIN!!!!1!!!
Is there a height at which it becomes a danger? I know 6' 7" isn't it, but if he legitimately grows a couple more inches he'd be taller than basically everyone on the basketball team as well.
Anyway, Harbaugh just needs to keep getting QBs so that he can trade them to other teams for vittles and gunpowder.
I think that's the biggest issue. Harder to surprise the defense with screens and quick outs if it's taking an extra few tenths of a second to get the ball out.
ask my wife.
I didn't have to. She mentioned it on her own.
