Michigan currently +53 vs. Wisconsin on FanDuel (max 50 bet)

And every time 500 people bet, it goes up +1.  I am guessing it will reach +100 before tip-off.

It is currently bet 50 to win 45.60 .... that is CRAZY!

It is a valentine special they are having.

Put $50 when it was +8. Didn’t realize the scale was gonna get this big! I look forward to having a little extra spending money with the girlfriend being in town this weekend.

They had a similar bet a few weeks ago for Pistons-Lakers. Every 313 fans to place a bet, the spread went up 1. Ended up being something like +156.5 when it closed. Easiest $45 I’ve ever made.

Honestly I’ve had the app for a while and they do these easy bets every once in a while to attract new customers and get them hooked. I’m not much of a gambler so I just play the bets like this and take my free money *shrugs*

Listen, I don't bet, and I'm not really sure how this works, but it is it really that ridiculous? Isn't this an even money bet? Please explain what I'm missing? There aren't any points involved, correct?

Right now, since gambling recently became legal, the big sportbooks (FanDuel, DraftKings, sprotsbets etc..) are competing fiercely to get users in.

They are coming out with incredible bets about once a week to lure you in and get you hooked.

I do not bet, but i cannot walk from free money either.  Last week for superbowl, fanduel had bet 5 dollars on the team, if they win, you get 275.  So i opened 2 accounts and bet each team.

This week its the Michigan game like stated above.  Its basically 'free' money as long as you refrain from getting hooked and betting outside their specials.

You bet $50, you win and you get your $50 back plus $45. The point spread continues to rise the more people bet on it. So they’re essentially giving $45 to everyone that bets on this game because so many people will take the bet that the point spread will reach outrageous levels.

Which is crazy, but it’s a big promotional special that attracts a lot of customers. Many of which will remain as customers and continue spending money on their site. That’s their goal here. Some people, like myself, just wait for these promos to appear and take the free money and cash out

I've done well on the FD book since it's come out in Michigan. They have some boosted odds and no-brain bets like these, which fund all my other bets which are probably net negative. If you put $50 on the specials like these (they had one for the Pistons/Lakers game a few weeks back too) it will pay for a good number of regular bets at 5-10 a bet. Remember, they are sucking you in with these favorable bets, hoping you bet this much and more after you win. Don't bet more than you can afford, etc.

I need to deposit on DraftKings as well, since they're blog sponsor. I started with FD and Barstool and didn't want too much cash out there on various apps until I figured it out. DK appeared to have tons of good Super Bowl promotions, and I assume they will continue with the NCAA tournament and into the summer.

Im in the same boat - i am going to open one on draft kings also this weekend because they have great specials too.

Realistically, if 2/3 sites do specials like this about weekly, it will approach 10k a year in next to 'free' money.  Just have to stay disciplined, which i will because my 'hobby' is not sportsbetting, it is wall street.  And i have done enormously well and love to research company financial statements and sectors in general.

These are fun. DraftKings has one going right now where the Over/Under got "hammered" down to 0 for the Lakers game this weekend. So that max bet is only $25 I think but I'm definitely not complaining.

Should really read the terms of service. You get the money as a credit. You have to play it like 20 times to withdraw the credit. Chances of you going on a hot streak like that is slim to none.

This is probably a stupid question, but where do you find this at? Honestly, I can't even find tomorrow's games, it just lists the games for today and I don't see any option to change the day.
