Crean is on the court more than Izzo. Doyle, Maar and Dawkins are playing well. Improving nicely. They could really be a force next year.

sleep-walking offensively in the first 12 minutes, somehow we hung in there until the defense got too sloppy the last 3 minutes. Shockingly, down only 7 when it seems like it should be about a dozen.

couldn't eat into that lead. The guys have been playing hard but to me any time IU wants to run away with it they are going to and there won't be anything we can do about it.

only college sports team worse at finshing first halves than our basketball team is our football team. We lose more games in the last 4 minutes of the first half than any team I have ever seen. We lost the national championship game two years ago in the last 4 minutes of the first half and it has not stopped since.

This is a fantastic tribute to Dean Smith. I was unaware he was the first coach to integrate blacks into North Carolina college sports.
